It may just be a middle Georgia thing, but in my area there are several "Blah Blah area yard sale" type of sites on FaceBook. Well, the other day a pinball machine popped up on one. I didn't even notice but one of my work friends tagged me in the post. Today, I found some help and made a quick excerion to go pick it up. Interestingly enough the machine was never posted on craigslist for the masses. It was only advertised on FaceBook.
Of course it was described as "D@mn fine condition." It doesn't start a game, one of the displays has lines out, hasn't been cleaned in over five years, has a ramp entrance covered in tape and some serious cabinet decal pealing. I'm betting it needs flipper rebuilds and some switches replaced. However, the price seemed good and it is mine now.
Here's to Elvira and the Party Monsters! May they live forever.
