I am not sure how the wiring this main on/off switch works or is wired in. What I do know is the machine, once plugged into power is always on and the on/off switch does not interrupt power at all. The switch does work correctly when I test it with a DMM.
How is this switch wired in and what steps do I take to make it work like it should?

The black and yellow wires at the power switch aren't connected together under the black electrical tape by any chance?

Maybe one for the 'stupid operator tricks' file.

Location had it plugged into an outlet that was turned off at night and they didn't want miscreants turning off the game otherwise.... probably other valid reasons.
