Yes. Still searching for etiquette.

Well that made me legit laugh out loud
Quoted from vdojaq:Where did you say that you were the problem?
Frankly I have no problem. Others have a problem with MY buying style only because it's not theirs. Can we call a peace to agree to disagree?
Quoted from 1974DeltaQueen:I think the original seller saw through the bullsh1t. There is no crying in pinball
Never was as I said before I have seen other ones for sale here and just IMO I think there will be more.

I believe Miss Manners called Dear Abbey and they both said "aw fuck it"
Quoted from Grayman_EM:Can we call a peace to agree to disagree?
We can if your promise not to try to buy anything from me.

Or start a third thread complaining the next times things don't go your way.

100% I agree we disagree. The very thing you are absolutely correct about is it's your buying style. That's just the way you do it. However, you also have to realize some sellers may not be attuned to your particular style and may ignore your offers or not agree with your terms. That's not a question of etiquette, it's a reflection of personal preference of negotiation.
My personal dislike is the "well, I only have this much to spend" style of negotiation. My response is then this machine isn't in your price range. That's not rude, nor improper etiquette, it's cold hard facts. If I am trying to sell a machine that was reasonably priced for $600 and you come in at $300, I would either ignore you or give you a simple "no thanks" depending on the machine.
I am guilty of low ball offers myself, but I am not uptight about no response. If I get no response, I either shrug my shoulders or come back with an offer pretty damn close to an asking price. If I still get no response, well then maybe that's on me for the initial low ball offer.

Sorry Scott your the only one with EM's. Yes I checked out your pins. Plus my sister lives in Michigan with her family. Just a hop over from where she lives.
