I think there's a line between what can honestly be expected in the average used game, and outright weasel words. Sadly, broken plastics and weak flippers mean the game still works, and badly installed decals are still installed. It's the optos, blowing fuse, and the DMD that cross that line. The optos just might have gotten dirty during shipping, and the DMD does technically work, but it seems scummy to me. It's the fuse that really points out he's not being honest. That's not the kind of thing that just pops up during transit.
We shipped a pin 3000 miles, recently. It got there with a spring missing and a flipper kind of stuck. We took the price of getting it fixed off the man's next purchase (going out next week, in fact). That's the right thing to do, IMHO.
