TRON: Legacy (Pro) Stern, 2011

So here’s the situation. You’re in MB on Tron with a ball trapped on each flipper. From the right you shoot the quorra spinner, stage the upper left flipper and shoot the upper ramp with a ball still trapped on the left flipper. You then immediately shoot the scoop with that ball that had been trapped BEFORE the other ball has a chance to pass through the left inlane. Are you awarded with an EOL jackpot? Cuz I feel like I was hitting the scoop too fast after hitting the upper ramp and the game didn’t have a chance to qualify the scoop for EOL. Any insight from Tron owners out there would be greatly appreciated. I have Tron in both of my league bars and this comes up more often than you would think.

I always thought as soon as you hit the first shot of the combo, you could shoot the scoop right away to collect the EOL with the other ball. I also think while in multiball you can't raise the value of the EOL.

I believe so, yes. While combos build the EOL value, no combo is required to collect EOL -- just the shot to the side ramp, followed by immediate shot to the scoop. I've done as you described, and if I recall correclty, collected EOL prior to the side ramp ball getting to the L inlane. In fact, I think you get the benefit of being able to brick the "premature" EOL attempt (from the ball already on L flipper), and still have time to make a 2nd attempt to the scoop from the "natural" ball that is feeding to your L inlane.
