So my question is, will the Escalera MS-1-66 work on a 38”x38” landing? Or is there another powered dolly that might work better, maybe the Powermate L1? Any help or suggestions is greatly appreciated!

I like the step edge detection. Have only used on low pile carpet though. I found the most important thing is that the step edge detection helps you keep the unit at the right angle. Keeping the unit at the right angle is key to using it safely and letting it do the work.

Yes I think they would of seen the wheels coming off the ledge and held it there or warned me. It did not go down fast off the first step kinda slipped then went slow until about 3 steps down. Normally when I have help they put constant pressure on the game as if they are helping the Escalara lif it up the stairs.
