I had this Earthshaker for many years. The other night I was flicking the right flipper button while in attract mode to music absentmindedly. Yes I was drinking.
Anyhow after playing the game the right flippers went dead after about 8 activations.
Next day I inspected the machine and the right flipper fuse was blown. I found no obvious issues like shorts etc. I cleaned and checked the gaps on the cabinet leafs and the EOS switches and replaced the fuse and same story-eventually blew again while the left flipper and everything else worked fine.
I am scratching my head how my tapping the button repeatedly for a bit caused an issue.
Basically I've never had to deal with issues on this era machine.
Could the diodes on the coil, the capacitors on the flipper switches be the problem?
Any help greatly appreciated!
