OK pinball Wizards

J11 on the backbox interconnect board is a 16 pin IDC connector. It only has one wire going to it. (see pic)

Mine had a 9 pin connector (broken one at that) with the one wire and all the other pins uncovered.

Here's my question. Do I need a 16-pin connector for this one lonely wire. Can I put say a 3 pin connector with the wire in the right place which is pin 3?

I've searched most of the usual vendors and the highest position pin I see is 13. Anyone even know where to get a 16?

I'm so close to solving my last problem which is no lights on the upper playfield GI.

If someone can point me in the right direction I would appreciate it.
