So I am working with a fellow Pinsider and friend to put together a charity event in the next couple of months at a local bar here in Michigan (Beek's) that is a Stern army location. My daughter is ten and has epilepsy and we are working to bring awareness and look for cures. What I am looking for is anyone with a lower price players machine that I may purchase and put in the silent auction for the Epilepsy Foundation. I would also be open to a donation machine that once the auction is over we could give you the proper tax forms for a write off. If anyone has anything or and questions let me know. I will not be keeping any of the money and it will all go to the national Epilepsy Foundation. I appreciate any and all help.

Edit: I did not even consider other pinball related items people might want to donate for the auction but anything is welcome. If you are close enough I can drive to pick them up or pay for the shipping if needed. My wife and I are working with the Epilepsy Foundation to secure the 501c forms for tax deductions for those that would like them.

I have spoken with the Michigan chapter of the Epilepsy Foundation and will be working with them. They sent emailed me forms that I can forward to anyone willing to donate that would like to get the tax credit.

right now the date is going to be set for March 21st. there will definitely be some 50/50 raffles too.

We started a list on Facebook to help reserve spots for the tournament under beek's bar. If you are not on facebook and want to go you can pm your info and i will pass it on.

just a heads up, we will be rescheduling the tournament to may 16th. hopefully all who wanted to play can still make it. sorry for the inconvenience.

Just to keep everyone up to date that wanted to attend the tournament, we have postponed it for obvious reasons. We are keeping an eye on the continuing developments of this virus and we'll schedule it once we feel it is safe for everyone that wants to attend. We will post anything new when we have it.

Clearly your advice is sound and and backed by science! I believe I will start the clinical trials today (while listening to Live from Flint) and report back my findings.

Well my 7 days on at work starts tomorrow so I will not be able to do a thorough case study until I am back off again. My study will not contain any placebos so the test results might be skewed a bit.

It's back from the lock down! We are finally going to try to get this thing rolling and back on schedule. Pending any new restrictions we will be having the event October 23rd. More details to follow but all the same donations will be there for the auction and prizes.

Just a heads up, the slugfest that is going on the auction is up and running at the Monroe mall at the Ulekstore pinball and arcade for people to check out and play before the event. Thanks! Glad you came out. I will post pictures soon but we took in a little over $3800 for the event.
