    Hey all,

A quick video showing our PowerMisers/EnergyMisers. We have them set to 15mins and they work fantastic! They have saved us quite a bit of money and wanted to share with the community.

How long does it take to recoup 141 bucks for each Miser? .....ouch.

At $141 per miser in our use case, we paid ours off in savings in roughly 5 months.

We pay 10 cents per kwh. We have 33 machines (30 pins and 3 arcades). Figure 200 watts per hour per machine with normal play and we're open 19hrs per day.

Without misers and the machines on for 19hrs we figure $382 per month in power.

    -ALWAYS ON-
    6600 total watts (33 machines x 200 watts / machine)
19 hours "on" time per day
    10 cents per KWH

Misers cutting down total "on" time to 7 hours overall across everything brings it down to $141.

A savings of $241 a month in power for the machines. (or roughly 5 months to pay for 8 misers)

Very nice. I only have 5 games, and they're on switched remote.. it's a good idea for a larger room, and depending on your power rates.. ours is substantially cheaper.. 3.4 for the first 1000 kWh, then 6.4 for each kWh after that. Yes, I'm ridiculously happy with my current power company.

FUN, who is local to me has a huge display room this would be perfect for, but they never have any of their games turned on anyays unless a customer demands it... >_<
