What do you do when your playfield has broken or missing ball guide rails?
I haven't seen any discussions or suggestions on this, but I'd think with old EMs this would be a common problem.

My King of Diamonds has a broken ball guide next to the right flipper, the end that goes into the playfield is missing.
A previous owner made a horrible repair attempt with a big glob of some type of glue
It looks like child did it, because they dripped glue over several spots on the lower playfield, including between the flippers, but that's another issue

What do you do in a case like this, or if you're completely missing a guide rail?
Is there way to fix one thats missing the end that goes into the playfield?
Do you find a similar length guide rail from another old game and try to modify it?
Or do you make a new one somehow?

Fabricate a guide rail using a bicycle spoke. That's what I did in one instance.

Or you go to your stash. You are in luck. I have one the right length but its bent for the left return instead of the right return, you'll need to rebend it to match. pm me your address. hopefully you are us based, i hate int shipping

Marcos has the bulk material, not too hard to bend your own

Also a starter kit with bending jig & wire

That starter kit with the jig sounds useful, would be a good thing to have on hand, thanks for the tip!
