Not sure how popular this thread will be, since finding an EM on location seems about as frequent as winning the lottery. But what the hell, will give it a shot anyway.

Any place remotely near you that has an EM to play? Any unique experiences playing one out "in the wild"? Post here! Here are a couple in the eastern Kansas area:

Hollywood at Home Movies Magazines

They tend to rotate EMs in and out occasionally. Though over the last few months it has just been Kings and Queens, Masquerade and Hot Shot.

Papa Keno's Pizza

Like Hollywood, EMs get rotated in and out frequently, but also have been at a stand still for some time. The Lawman's cabinet is faded badly, its completely white! Backglass is as well, thankfully you can still play the game.

And I can't forget Pizza West (http://pinside.com/pinball/map/where-to-play/pizza-west-3186-shawnee-ks-united-states), which has Superstar. So I would say we are doing alright out here, EM wise.

Quoted from MikeO:

The games at Hollywood Video and Papa Keno's are Phil Wang's games. He has been operating EM's in the Kansas City/Overland Park area for over 15 years now.
The first game I ever went to look at in 1997 was a Gottlieb Quick Draw from a guy that also operated and repaired games at that time. The QD was $650 with a badly flaking backglass and worn playfield but was totally shopped out. I ended up buying a Gottlieb Out of Sight instead for $300 from another guy that fixed games in much better cosmetic condition. Phil bought the QD and operated it on location for years.

Interesting, and very cool that he puts them out there in the area.

Sweet, the topic I started is back on the first page.

I will be playing a Sky Jump sometime this week here at Lawrence. Hoping that it works a little bit better than the last time.

Now here is a place I need to visit some time, just about 2 hours away from me:

A woodrail? In the wild? I'm there.

Got around to playing that Sky Jump here in Lawrence. Half the time it would actually play, and when it did it was pretty good. Drain monster of a machine.
