    #105 7 years ago

    #106 7 years ago

    #107 7 years ago

$347.25.....The last contest I missed winning by 3 seconds. Arrggh. Will it be 3 dollars this time?

    #109 7 years ago

    The excitement swells!!!!

    #110 7 years ago

    $ 265.50

    #111 7 years ago

Rats! Can I change my guess? I was at $265.50 I just took another look and put more effort into thinking, "Density" and trying to estimate rolls of quarters in that glob...one roll next to another. Then tried a quick guess at layers...mostly in the middle of course and receding to the sides.

I am coming up with over $500 for sure. If I am allowed to change my guess it would be $598.50.

If I am not allowed to I understand and all is good!

    Peace friends,

I suck at theory of density calculations in a confined spacing. I am better at making chili, playing pinball and drinking beer with friends...honest!

GL to the winner! Nice estimate!

    #127 7 years ago

THAT was exciting! Something new to do. Missed it by $14.25
When I saw alot of guesses going into the high 4 and 5 hundreds I
thought I had no shot at all.

    Thanks for the contest.

    #128 7 years ago

I officially request a, "Re-Do". I looked everywhere for the contest rules in this thread and found none. Therefore I exercize my right to request a Re-Do. Please place all the coins back where they were and let''s start this once again

    lol

    #129 7 years ago

    That was my second guess.

    #131 7 years ago

Oh man,I thought you said there was all kinds of change in "The Jar",That's why I guessed a odd number.
I say now add in all the other change, post a pic of it and let's-do it again?
Fun and nice of you to do this-Thanks

    #132 7 years ago

Way too many penny's to count when there is pinball to be played! Maybe some other day

    #133 7 years ago

Nice contest Whridl... I've spotted the error of my ways... I assumed there was 45lb of change being counted, but now I get it... you had 45lbs of change, and the contest was to guess how may quaters there were in that change... so the 45lbs merely put an upper limit to the guess ($900), but no lower limit

    #134 7 years ago

    Waaaaaaaaa, my 311.50 almost good.
I cannot see a few pieces on the bottom...

Just one buck behind the winner... surely you deserve a 2nd place prize

Yeah, 2nd place is also good in this hard competition...
