Wanted to empty my change jar so I could put a jar of quarters next to hulk for every one to use to add some credits and I guess I had a few more than I thought. 45 LBS of change is what I had to pull these quarters from

Wonder if I can get another pin with all these quarters.

Let's make this fun. I will mail a little surprise to whoever gets the closest. No price is right rules. If you are over that's fine. Closet either way wins. Will post the number tomorrow evening

Emptying it now. Anyone want to predict how much?

    #3 12 years ago

Spare change? Can anyone spare some change? Reminds me of the South Park episode.
Thats a lot of quarters man. Guessing $174.75

    #4 12 years ago

    I say $212.25

    #5 12 years ago

That's easy...80 quarters to a pound. If you truly have 45 pounds that's 3600 quarters or $900. Good score!

    #7 12 years ago

    $281

    #8 12 years ago

If its 45lb then it should be about $900. 80 quarters weigh 1 pound.

Edit: didn't see robertmee's post or we posted at the same time. My guess?......627.88

375.75 Wow, I need to stop letting my wife have my change!

    #24 12 years ago

I thought about guessing that, but I stuck to 550.

    #26 12 years ago

$327.75, one Wheat Penny, an old arcade token, and some corroded things that might be dimes.

    #28 12 years ago

    895

    #29 12 years ago

    $300

    #30 12 years ago

    $450

I save all my change and also collect metal in order to buy pins.

    #31 12 years ago

Hmmmm....Since they aren't all quarters but 45 lbs still. Let's say 60% are quarters and the average of the rest are nickels (dimes and pennies average to a nickel .5).

So instead of $900 in quarters there's only $540. That leaves $72 in nickels. But they weigh 80% of a quarter, so make that $90.

I amend my guess based on accurate information that not all quarters to $630.

    #33 12 years ago

using the pound of quarters calculation, I'll say 898.42

    #34 12 years ago

    ill guess 587.50
just counted my spare change quarters as well lol
    but i only had 120$

    #35 12 years ago

Just to repost, might be worth a re-read for some people using the 45lb calculation, little logic quiz:
