I have many bally linear flipper restored and they all work good, no ball rebound at all. If the ball rebound on the flipper, change the stopper, also check the alignement and the sleeve. That should not happen.

Quoted from BJM-Maxx:How does changing the stop help?
Because the sitting face is new flat and complete, the shaft will sit better and i also recommend changing the shaft or grind the face flat.
Result is the flipper is lot more stable and no more bouncing ball.
