Embryon out hole kicker works only when you hit the flippers

When I play my Embryon the out hole kicker works only when you hit the flippers. Once the ball drops in the out hole, nothing happens until I push the left or right flipper. After the flipper is pushed the ball ejects. I am having a hard time with this issue.

Check the switch gap for the hole kicker, might be a tad big, and the flipper creates just enough vibration to close it. You can also check this by tapping on the playfield to create the same effect.

Also check the connectors at the MPU for the switch strobe and return for the outhole switch. If they are loose, the MPU will not be able to read a switch closure. Activating the flippers probably causes enough vibration for these contacts.

Will it score your bonus after the ball enter the outhole? Before or after you used the flippers?

Once the ball drops into the outhole and you hit the flipper it scores. Today the outhole worked some of the time. It would work 2 or 3 times and then stop. Then you hit the flippers or shake the machine it worked again. I
