EM vs SS playing preferences of guests visiting your gameroom

We had two different groups of people over this past Friday and Saturday. On Friday, STLE, POTC, and SWE1 got a lot of play, whereas on Saturday, 2001, and TAF got the most play. I'm sure this has been discussed here before, but I still find it very interesting that even with similar demographics, depending on who actually is in the room, folks tend to gravitate to very different types of machines - the newer SS games vs EM and earlier SS games. Just curious if anyone else every notice this?

All the people at my parties gravitate towards the EM's 100% of the time, just not sure why.
