This has me totally baffled. When the playfield is up for service
flipper is not energized and they work normal. As soon as I lower
playfield and metal hooks behind apron make contact with cabinet support
frame flipper energizes. All wires are clear and I have check them all.
Replaced Eos and coil. Disconnected right flipper switch and it stays
energized. There must be a relay switch stuck thats feeding this coil.
When frame makes contact with the cabinet it complets the circuit.. Any
idea which relay energizes the flippers. Diring game startup flipper doesnot energize until at the end of start up sequence. Thanks

When you lower the pf, look into the coin door to check the flipper coil connections/wires, etc are not touching anything. My wizard had flipper coils right above the chime box and depending on how wires were soldered, etc, the wires/connections would short on one of the chimes. Also check that nothing on the edge of the pf is against the flipper switches. I think its normal for the flippers to be one of the last things to get power at the end of the reset sequence.

I took chime box out to be sure still no change. I will look at coin door.

Coin door wires fine. What would cause the 2 red wires to have voltage when playfield os just about down. Disconnected flipper switch and still no luck.

I once had a similar problem in lowering the PF - I found a short in the wiring harness bend that goes up into the back box looked like a black dot on the cloth insulation.
