There is a Flying Carpet on EBay in Delaware. He started at 550 or B.O. now it's 350 or B.O. Pics are so dark it's hard to tell what it looks like but there is a good pic of the playfield that looks kinda good. I didn't see any broken plastics or loss of paint

#6353 7 years ago

I kinda wanted a drop target game but at that price it has me thinking

#6407 7 years ago

That's the baseball pin I really wanted and settled for a Grand Slam when one became available 5 miles from my house

Where did you get the playfield protector? Doesn't seem like a bad idea

Just finished with my Pro Football. Cleaned all steppers and score reels. Rebuilt the AS stepper, all new playfield posts and rubbers. Made playfield plastics protecters from lexan, rebuilt the flippers with everything associated with the flippers new. Stripped, cleaned, and waxed playfield, sealed area in front of flippers with polyurethane ( with help from Boilerman thank you). Sealed backglass,. Cleaned and gapped points. Game plays great. Credit wheel adds two games when start button is pushed. No big deal on that but I will look into it. I did clean the credit unit. This is not as good as alot of Pinsiders. Some of the work done on this site amazes me, but I'm happy and learn with each one. I have 5 this is my 3rd rebuild. Now I'm looking for another. I bought this at Pinfest so it's my 3 month transformation.

I did put orange dot coils on the bottom flippers. I like the results going to leave it that way I didn't realize there's different ways to set your flippers on a 4 flipper game till it was time to put them back. The way I have it now makes it a little harder to play which I like the brochure has the bottom flippers horizontal. I ordered soft white LEDs they should be in this week along with a couple of different colored ones just to experiment I never used LEDs on EM but I'm going to experiment to try to get a little bit more brightness in the game it's reversible so it's not hurting anything.

I want at least one EM Williams. I like the pop up disk between the flippers

Alot if people rate roller coaster low. I really like the game . The early 70s artwork is great in my opinion. Congrats on making this game new again

I like the art work on Jungle life . I like that early Gottlieb cartoonish look . Jungle life, Roller Coaster, I have never played either game but would like to own them just for the art work. I love Pinball so I don't think I would hate any game . I mean EM games . To each his own

I was against leds in EMs till I tried soft white in the backglass and I agree with you as long as your backglass is good it really makes it better . I even tried them under dull from age playfield plastics on a Pro Football and I liked that to

Got them from cointaker . They are 44/47 frosted and color is warm. I said soft that's my bad. They are 1.5 times brighter than incandescents. Believe me Im big on not changing EM games but these bulbs really bring out a good backglass and work well for playfield plastics. You can just buy like 10 to see if you like them . That's what I did then I placed a order for 50. I added the same bulbs but 2 each of different colors red, green, blue just to see what they look like, haven't experimented with those yet . I think the frosted white, color warm brings the visual affect of the game more alive. I was against this completey till I tried it and love it plus they are my games I will do what I want. I could post a before and after pic of my pro football but the camera doesn't do it justice. I put them on the backglass of a captain kid gun game and it really pops . They don't seem to dim like incandescents do either

I have a drop a card and the Playfield Plastics are original and they are yellowed I'm going to try to put these leds under them if it worked like it did on my pro football which were also yellowed it will brighten them almost like new. With today's technology there is a place for LEDs on these old machines

LEDs on left not on right

I order frosted white warm in color from cointaker as I just posted on a different post I had a couple broken Playfield Plastics on my pro football that I couldn't get repos so I made some protective covers out of lexan I liked it so much I made a cover for every plastic piece on my pro football I plan on doing that on my other four games it will take time but a piece here and a piece there these LED lights will give off enough light to get through the Playfield plastic and the lexan and brighten the game up

Like I said to each his own.
