Quoted from o-din:

...it never gives you the feeling that you actually beat it.

Or, since it is so boring, you have the feeling that you never actually even *played* it.

I would take a picture of my Fireball, but it is still broken down from taking it to PATZ last year (2013). And yes, PATZ (2014) is coming up here in a few days. Can't say I miss it not being set up. And no, it is not about space, it's more about motivation.

But all that being said, most guests gravitate to that machine more than any other in my collection.

In the 80s these houses were around 100k maybe.

Yep.....

Now, if that is the problem with it adding balls, *that* would be hilarious. (I mean, it's funny enough now....)

I brought this home last weekend--just set it up today. I have been jonesin' for a Big Hit for several years and a friend of mine passed a great deal that he got onto me. Rock on, Bill!

I have to admit, my pants were a little snug bringing this home.

It will need a good cleaning and some work, but it is in pretty good shape. Sorry for the crappy pics.

Quoted from RyanClaytor:

Congrats, Scott! Maybe don't mention that to your wife and kids, though. Ha-ha! Here's hoping it has an appropriate lockdown bar.

Shhh. I moved some shelves a bit deeper into the basement, and unless you look real carefully, it is hardly noticeable that there is an additional machine in the lineup.

Quoted from amkoepfer:

Scott, the offer still stands, you can store as many 100% working games at my place as you want!

Sure--*you* drag them out of the basement. I'll give you the garage code and let you know when I am out of town. Try not to scratch the walls.

Quoted from amkoepfer:

My own personal agenda. now you guys owe me for life!

I saw pictures of all those ginger-ale cans in your gameroom thread. I mean, those things don't show up on their own, do they? Now as far as Ryan owing you...

We had a thing before and she left me, so she still has to win my trust back.

If you feel that way, why is she riding shotgun? Throw her in the back!

I often wonder if my King of Diamond in my collection came from the Casino Arcade.

See if your initials are carved on the side of the backbox.

Always thought a Jet Spin would look great next to a Surf Champ.

Bring your Surf Champ over and we'll see. And you might as well bring the Skill Roll, too.

Quoted from Otaku:

I find it fairly rare that I ever have players 3 or 4, especially in a larger collection where there is so much else to play - nobody wants to wait around.

We usually have several games going simultaneously at my house--so there is not as much waiting.

Quoted from heatwave:

A few hours later I get a call; his son was very upset, did not know he was planning on selling the game and was hoping it would go to his house, etc.
Long story short, no EM Joker Poker for me! The seller was very nice (and VERY apologetic about the change in plans) and I did get to play a EM Joker Poker for the first time. Win some - Lose some.

I would make sure the son gets your phone number in case he tires of it (you know, when it breaks and it sits for a while). You'd get first dibs, so to speak.

Decided to keep the playfield and cabinet original though.

I would do the same if it were mine. Good looking game!

And this one has the cool 3” flipper mod.

It looks like those flippers would hit each other if used at the same time.
