WOW this thread is a keeper. Here's a pic of my favorite EM playfield, Sky Divers (Bally 1964). I'm very happy that my playfield looks so great. This game is just so much nudging fun, if you're not the nudge type this will eat you alive. For a game from 64 it even has quite a complex set of rules or patterns to progress the sky diver from the plane to the ground, very very difficult or impossible to do in one play. For that reason the sky divers progress (on backglass) remains from game to game, great idea to bring in the money.

IPDB backglass pic - http://ipdb.org/showpic.pl?id=2193&picno=2077 mine is in very very poor shape so this one is better. As I've posted before I'm looking for another one, repro, re-draw etc.

Here's my collection of "project" machines. Cosmetically they're not perfect but they work 100% and more importantly they're 100% fun.

Quoted from Gov:

how is that Olympic Hockey? There is one for sale a little ways away from me.

It's great fun. Getting goals is more of a goal than getting points. It's fun advancing the puck on the ice rink in the backboard. Great two player game though, it's a family favorite. Mostly because of the puck thing again.

Quoted from bangerjay:

Maybe this is thread hijacking, but I have these two em's for sale. Space Odyssey and Spanish Eyes, cabs and back glasses are rough, they light up, that's all. $200 each. Far northwest Chicago burbs

I'd take them both right now, today if you were close by ((

Here's my latest line up revision. Take a look at how much taller Jet Spin's backglass is. Two inches to be exact, gives a lot more room for the art which usually suffers on a four player machine.

Hot Shot is next to be worked on, then my Duotron mess up (not pictured).

Thanks Rat, ya I gotta say that Jet Spin is my dream EM machine. The larger backglass is so evident when standing in front of it and it's also the only machine (and Super Spin) with a Vari and Roto target in the same cab.

Quoted from boilerman:

IMO every wedgehead gottlieb made was a great player with the exception of a hand full ie. road race

Ya I gotta say the single players were done just right, I guess being single player they were able to create more complex rules vs the multiplayer version. I know with my 4 player GTB's I had to choose very specific games that had the same fun level. Many multiplayer GTB's were a little too simple. I know with Target Alpha if it wasn't for the extra ball award which I just love it would have been a bust compared to the targets staying down as in ELD. But for me having the whole family on one game fighting it out was very important.

Now back from UK and looking to move up north to Ore/Wash to Escape heat of Bakersfield.

Wow, that is quite the site but just a small sample judging by your 300+ pin count. Good luck on the move and look us up when you get settled. If you need a hand let us know.

Quoted from stashyboy:

Quick Draw I picked up in Maryland (yes, that's 6 hours from me! )

A 12hr road trip for a great machine that you may have for a very long time, well worth the effort IMO. I've done similar and never regretted it.

Quoted from Pin-it:

Probably cost you more in fuel than the pin itself.
Nice resto.

Now that would make it even more sweet!

Quoted from jrpinball:

You should always double rubber the rounded top flippers on all game which use a 1 1/16" pinball.
The reason for this is that the die used to make the flippers did not change from the time a 1 1/8" pinball was used.

I always wondered why people did that, I thought it was a mod of sorts but I guess not.
