Here is my Sure Shot, OXO and High Hand. Royal Flush is in the garage. SS and RF were the first pins I got in the 90s when I got started. Very happy to have them back.

Quoted from blondetall:

Just rescued her from my parents' garage. I've got the playfield cleaned up, am waiting on new bulbs so that I can get them all working, and am trying to figure out how to clean the cabinet. I shopped it out for them last fall, then they let it sit in their garage with stuff piled on top, so had to give her a good home. Plays great, and is actually more fun than I originally thought it would be.

How much were you paid as the model for the backglass?

Quoted from Marc:

Bally Flip Flop, something about it just keeps me playing it. Nice game, perfect backglass and a touched up and clear coated playfield. No room in the game room right now so currently folded up in the warehouse

Almost had a Flip Flop but time kills all deals. I really like the outlane configuration on the game, very unique.

I have never noticed the ring bumper configuration on a pin before like along the sides of Daisy May.

Do other pins have that?

Quoted from John_I:

Thanks to everyone who has posted. It is nice to see so many well kept EMs. It makes my sad to think how many EMs ended up in dumpsters back in the day when they came off route. Here is my latest.

Needs a few more drop targets...

I saw that game for the first time in ages at Allentown. Brought back memories.

Quoted from SteveFury:

All these are really very nice. Here are my two project machines:

I hope you mean finished projects! Very nice for sure. Make me feel ashamed 8-(

Nope, it's still in Colorado. But I'm patient. Here's my Solar City.

Quoted from fflint_18:

Here is my Flip Flop. Pretty nice specimen.
Then my favorite "Fli A Card". Cabinets not great, but it plays like a dream.
And my latest project "Space Mission". Cabinet and glass is a mess, but I have everything working.
Sold my Full House to make room and get funds. Went to a friend so I will still visit. And probably fix it.

I love Flip a Card. Really cool layout.

I grew up in Philly across the Tacony Palmyra bridge. Used to go to the Pennsauken mart all the time. Underage buying beer at Roger Wilco. Used to visit family friends in Marlton all the time.

Quoted from fflint_18:

Hey Dan,
Really funny you should mention that.
I grew up in upstate PA and used to cruise to Jersey to pick up beers.
Crazy things we did in our youth.
Who did you hang out with in Marltom?
It's a real homer town. If they had kids our age they are probably still here. I probably know some of them.
If you ever come this way stop by to play Flip Flop.
Bert

My wife is from Scranton, and they would run up to Binghamton.

I really didn't hang out in Marlton. My parents had life-long friends the Formatos. they did have kids the age of me and my sister. Their son's name was John, and he probably is 58 or so now.

I get up to philly very often, so I will probably take you up on the offer. Thanks.

Quoted from Pafasa:

Ok, so you three who wish you had a C37....I would like your opinion. My playfield is near perfect as far as paint goes, but the inserts are faded and cupped. Faded is not such a big deal to me because colored led's can handle that. Cupped however drives me crazy. I can't stand seeing the ball change direction on its way around. So here's the question. Would you like it more or less as a potential buyer if I had the pf surface leveled and cleared? And possible new inserts too.

Pafasa:

My High Hand is like that, the inserts are cupped. At 3 degrees pitch it is very noticeable.

After I raised the rear legs almost to the top of the levelers (about a half inch remains), made sure flipper EOS switches and cabinet switches were perfect shiny and clean as well as all other flipper components being in order and correcting the return spring tension so not too taught, I high-tapped the transformer.

The game plays fast enough now to overcome the effect of the cupped inserts, and they are not at all noticeable unless of course the ball is rolling very slowly, which doesn't happen too often anymore. I am no longer considering that I need to clear the pf of replace or repair the inserts.

Quoted from way2wyrd:

Pafasa,
obviously faded and cupped inserts reduce the value of a machine to almost nothing.
Seeing that is the case with yours I will take it off your hands for free as a project player.
