Quoted from NicoVolta:

*blush* yes... that was the one. I was the first one to call. Drove the 1000-mile round trip and won enough cash at the Hard Rock Casino on the way back to pay for the return trip (and lunch). Thank you Willy Wonka.
Pics are here (toys link):

Price was $900. Will need a new door frame, coin entry, some flaking in the backglass but very minor. Also note the center plastic is broken at the edges.
Says he got like 31 emails... yeow! Glad he honored the deal we made because it was a long trip!

Nice looking Cleo. Me thinks I should add some protectors to the corners of that center plastic on my SS Cleo.

I'm curious, on the few machines they made both SS and EM versions were the EM ones also made with DC coils, or were they AC coils like the rest (most?) of the EM's?

Oh, my my. Why did I ever part with that "Golden Arrow"?

Quoted from Vic_Camp:

You didn't think it was a good player?

Dang, I think I've said it before Vic, but that is one very pretty Golden Arrow, glad to see Abra C Dabra has some good company. I'm very happy with my GA but it's not nearly as clean as your's. I've seen you mention in the past you upped the slope on your's and like the play better. I think the manual says 3 1/2 for GA, mine is around 5 at the moment and I like it, but was wondering if you know what your's is at?

Thanks Vic, I'll check when i'm back home at the end of the week, but that sounds fairly close to how mine is setup as well. I just love chasing the big bell, always makes me smile

Quoted from pinwiztom:

4 Square is Sam Harvey's favorite from that era.
But I prefer Astro myself.

For that playfield layout I'd rather have Star Trek, because.. Star Trek! oh and the 1,000,000+ scoring on the backglass.

Quoted from boilerman:

i find GA in the same boat as C37 great lookers but much to easy to beat on a regular basis.

I think we just need to figure out how to have it reset the numbers after the first special... but then you would lose track of the score easily rolling it over. That said, I still very much enjoy playing mine on a regular basis.

for the roll pins I just use an appropriately sized nail with the end ground flat, works great. if I remember right a standard 16d nail works great.

Nice collection and nice looking room. Do you happen to know the dimensions of that room? I'm planning the forever gameroom and really like your arrangement. Also, does the lights along the wall work good while playing as far as reflections and such? i've not tried any like that yet.

Thanks.

Quoted from gdonovan:

I should pickup Astro off you, then I can say I have owned every single "Star Trek" pin ever made.

Only if you actually get the Star Trek export version of it.

Quoted from Ballypin:

The single post is factory. I removed the rubber as it was dried out but forgot to replace. just did a quick wipe down for pictures but will get a full shop / metal polish restore.

Inspired by your pic of the cabinet art I used the vinyl cutter and some heat transfer vinyl to make myself a t-shirt. Love the machine, the art and the theme, we have done many long 'double-up' bike trips.
