Jeff, that's awesome!!!! Jubilee is the first EM I ever opened up. It was also the game that started me and my best friend in the pinball hobby. Read my profile story for more.
Uno! I have one waiting for a restore. Never played it. Is it fun to play or just fun to look at? I think it looks way cool, relatively rare 2 player AAB.

Quoted from Gov:I saw a Nip It in person the other day. Neat machine! Sadly I did not get to play.
If you get in the groove, it can be flowing. If you shoot the gate on the left, it feeds the kicker for 1000 pts, kicker kicks the ball up and towards the gator grabber where you can grab it for another 1000 pts. If you get lucky, you can shoot the gate on the left again as the ball grabbed by the gator grabber feeds the right flipper... repeat for for another 2000 pts.

I think it is really fun to play. Ball plays fairly fast and keeping it up in the top area is a task in and of itself

ok i'll try a few of one I have been 'dialing in' and others here are the forum have been guiding me on and schooling me some!! thanks guys!!
such a fun game - I have it set on 5 ball, all con (hardest) post positions and spin n spot and it is a real blast!
gotta love the pink skull and cross bones when 'game over'!
Today I switched my Solar City to Replay from Add A Ball. Waxed it up, then played the hell out of it. The Replay feature does change the way the game can be played. I had the AAB feature set that way since 1982. More balls per play, higher scores. I could usually score 2 extra balls per game, when hitting the pre-set scores.
Darcy - sorry for the stupid question ... how do you switch Solar City from Replay to AAB?? was it an option on multiplayer gottliebs in the mid to late '70s??
regards, Ron
Hello Ron,
The Solar City (a 2 player, with the playfield like El Dorado) has the option of replay or add a ball. There is a switch/plug like the 3/5 ball adjustment. Do other Gottliebs have this feature? I would say yes. Which pins, I would not have a clue. None of the single player Gottliebs that I have can be switched. Hopefully someone can chime in on this one. This feature is was most likely for the later 70's pins. IPDB list Target Alpha as the first convertible model. A search of other models may come up with more games with this option. - Darcy

i would have bought one except I just bought a EM plus I have to solid states that I cant get rid of.
Quoted from stashyboy:Odyssey is the two player version. Yours is 'Space Mission'.
That's the third time I got it wrong!
Quoted from bangerjay:Maybe this is thread hijacking, but I have these two em's for sale. Space Odyssey and Spanish Eyes, cabs and back glasses are rough, they light up, that's all. $200 each. Far northwest Chicago burbs
I'd take them both right now, today if you were close by ((
Hey does anyone have a 1962 Gottlieb Tropic Isle? I had one about 40 years ago and liked it a lot. Get those monkeys up the tree!
I remember opening up my Donkey Kong cab when I first got it and the counter said 150,000+ plays. If even half to 3/4 of those were legit quarter in the slot games, I would say that it paid for itself a few times over back in the day
I think you guys have convinced me. I WILL own an EM soon I have been going through all of the EM's that are available on Future Pinball and have been having a lot of fun. There are some truly beautiful games out there.
So......anybody have a Beat the Clock they want to sell?
FrankG, I'm guessing you were trying to upload some pics. Pinside likes it when you put some text in your post as well. (which I have now done, so might as well throw a few pics into the mix) I'm not quite finished, need a few more parts, but 90% there, I can see the finish line!
I like the way they put that service plug way up front away from the incoming power, but where it's more useful! Nice looking game!
