Quoted from o-din:Been changing things up a bit in the garage lately too. Some are gone... and some have returned. Gotta keep those patrons happy.

Hey,
I patronized your place a few months back. And, you even offered an avacodo for the plane ride home. What a host!
If you didn't have that Magic Clock with the famous shelf, where would you put that bottle?
O-din's place makes a great hangout! Great host, great pinball, good stiff drinks and Fart-o-leetos for Mexican food! Great times. It is sad that my parents live 70 miles away and I would rather visit O-din for a week.

Nice Dimension. I got my Dimension glass from Ron Webb. Did CPR do one?
Wow, you have a big collection and you like old and new - dangerous for me because of the cost.
Quoted from EMsInKC:Our friend Lee suggested that I use French curves and that worked a lot better, but you still have to move the curves around a lot to get the bends correct, or close to correct.
I think I just had an epiphany. Are these tools that allow you to variably set in a curve pattern and then lock it in place to make a cut or stroke!? It would be great on bigger parts with long sweeping arcs...
*Edit* Nevermind. Research won. I think I need to fabricate the tool I'm envisioning though.
Quoted from Rat_Tomago:It is sad that my parents live 70 miles away and I would rather visit O-din for a week.
It feels like it has been going on here nonstop for a week strait. Glad they are all up and running. I don't usually say this, but I could use a nap.
Quoted from hoov:If you didn't have that Magic Clock with the famous shelf, where would you put that bottle?
In the morning I find them scattered everywhere. I think I may have to add another shelf to the collection.

You mean you have three now? Hey, sell me the one at Kevin's!
Quoted from boilerman:Jr. Vic doesn't have a lot of elbow room in his shop! looks like he is getting tight on space.
Yeah....with 40 games and 4 games rooms in the house now, it might be time to evaluate my space condition. I did find a home for the Cross Town for the time being though since finishing up the restoration.
If i move the metal shelves and push the games in the garage back against the wall...i might gain some valuable space.
Added the mirrored "side blades" to my Nags that 'Steve in Texas' produced. They were a nice fit and add a clean, bright touch to the play field without looking out of place (IMHOP).
A little tough to see in these pictures but you can certainly catch the reflection of the side rails and screws.
that was my 4th slick in 18 months. some titles are easy to find other not so easy.
but pa is a good place to be for EM's

If one shows up around here, someone will want two grand for it, and it's probably trashed.

What a great looking Pin! Have any videos of gameplay?
Quoted from Elvisinmypants:I picked this up this week and I am pretty sure, it is home to stay. It is so fast, it must me on high tap. I've only has the glass off enough to put the balls in. I will open it up soon I promise, damn that is a fun game.20150423_065326.jpg (Click image to enlarge) 20150422_215519.jpg (Click image to enlarge)

Really love the cabinet art on those Bally bingos with the tropical theme. Gorgeous game, dude!
Finally got around to setting up my 1960 WMS Jungle EM pin today,
brought it up to Salem from Bakersfield over easter weekend.
Game more or less fired right up after having been in storage for about 4 yrs.
Still needs some tweaking and cleaning up,
Some of the stepper units are a bit slow and sticky,
and need cleaning and some silicone spray.
The 10,000pt bell needs a new plastic tip on the plunger/striker.
but game plays well and pops and flippers are plenty peppy.
Took a few pics, but they came out lousy due to the fading sunlight,
will try taking some more on Sunday.
Also will try to fill in some of the history with the Jungle pin.
Also notice there is a nice place to set your lit cigarette or stogie,
next to your beer on the shelf.
Quoted from pinwiztom:Also notice there is a nice place to set your lit cigarette or stogie,

Damn, I want one of those old Williams pins just for the shelf.
I just played mine. The gameplay isn't bad but it's the combination of art, animation, mod cabinet and politically incorrect theme that make it really interesting.
My Jungle plays surprizingly fast,
despite my flipper linkage being fairly sloppy
with lots of action around the 5 pop bumpers.
This game is built for nudging.
Most challenging is to try to get the ball thru the top side rollovers
to light the bottom pops for 100K (alternating),
a must if you want to rack up points to achieve a replay with high score.
Also very fun getting all the animals (to drop in the Backglass and set up the special)
with a dangerous center spot target shot to "spot" any animals you
fail to achieve thru normal rollover lanes at the top of the PF
or the 2 gobble holes near the center of the PF or the two side drains at the bottom.
You may notice my flippers on Jungle are not correct,
Not only are they reversed/upsidedown, but i got one white plastic and one silver metal flipper,
need to find the correct appropriate matching pair.
Alex F what do you have on yours metal or white plastic?
I may go with metal regardless, as i like that look better.
Mine came with plastic. I don't think they started using the metal bats until 1962. I'm with you though I like the metal better too.
I agree those side roll-overs are nearly impossible. I think I get one about every 10 games.
Either i am a lousy cameraman or my camera ain't wortha dang,
here are some fuzzy details of the PF and BG.
These photos and my CAB's original paint job do not do this beautiful pin justice,
it a very pretty game, a one of a kinda, even in its own time.
The backglass animation is one of the best and most clever ever;
a collision of old school pinball taking on the new modern mod era.
Misplaced the leg and head bolts in transit;
so had to go to Ace hardware to get some
to assemble the game.

p.s. this game came to me from New York
(got it on ebay for a decent price about a decade ago)
and cost me the most to get shipped to me
than any other pin that i have owned, and i have shipped lots.
So that might tell you something about how high i regard this pin.
I really like how it retains the woodrail ball arch but has the mod cab. Like you say it's just really uniquely cool with so much going on. I have had mine for sale recently but I was looking at all the Jungle goodies on Pinball Rescue and I found myself getting excited. Then a guy came over yesterday and told me he may have the proper lock down bar. Mine's missing the aluminum cover. I get excited again... Then you post your pictures....
Speaking of lockdown bar, again its a clash of eras
as it is made of wood, except for the aluminum cladding.
Also beautifully simple lite bulb scoring.
Quoted from pinwiztom:Finally got around to setting up my 1960 WMS Jungle EM pin today,
"Styling For The 60's", Williams had promoted the new cabinet construction. Non burnable side rails. The drink and ashtray shelf, also helped to cut down on kicks to the coin door. 3/4 inch lower plywood panel aided in more cabinet strength. Built in 1960 to 1961.
I know I have played a Williams with this cabinet, but I can't remember the theme/game, certainly remember tossing the partially full ashtray onto a near by table.
Quoted from dasvis:Damn, I want one of those old Williams pins just for the shelf.
After looking at the last few posts, I just want a drink for my shelf.

Tom, I 'wish' you wouldn't post pictures of my Jungle on here...
You're gonna give people ideas.
Had some friends over to play last night we all had a blast. After everyone left I decided to take some video with everything powered up.
Please excuse the presence of DMD and SS games in this video. Also, excuse the absence of my Atlantis, Hot Shot and Fire Queen which I am restoring.
