Quoted from jrpinball:

I'd like to see a cabinet view of that game.

According to the source of the pic it was at the Silverball museum in NJ. It may no longer be there, as I couldn't find it on their list. But it is still in their gallery of photos.

#3202 5 years ago

OK then. I did see that game in person, and it does not have the original cabinet paint. I didn't notice the different color on the inside edge of the cabinet. If I get down there again and the game is still there, I'll give it a look. (Note to self: go to the Silverball Museum. You haven't been there in quite a while.)

So Dan made it back to SoCal.

#3205 5 years ago

Yep, and Big Daddy is in the process of kicking his ass! I just hope he doesn't drink all my booze.

#3206 5 years ago

Something tells me you will run out of booze before he beats Big Daddy.

#3207 5 years ago

Maybe.

What are those white labels on the Coke bottle? And I've heard the song, but it's the first time I've ever seen whisky really in a jar!

Nearly finished this. A lovely old game, and not too many left.

Those are Mexican cokes made with real sugar. They all have that label. Funny, I was hearing that song wild mountain honey in my head when we opened that jar.

Dan says he wants to take this one with him.

Only because I told him he can't have it.

lol! You would be proud Rat! I went and mowed the lawn anyway.

Now you can relax and play some Kings and Queens and beat the 2208 (3 ball) score or you can work on Dirty Harry since Bob is asking about it.

#3216 5 years ago

Or I can wait for Nimblepin to bring some more of that moonshine over.

Still trying to get moved in. My Capt Fantastic is in the paint shop for a cabinet repaint. Here's a few of the lineup.image-366.jpgimage-415.jpgimage-415.jpgimage-791.jpgimage-290.jpgimage-439.jpgimage-966.jpgimage-876.jpg

Slick Chick was starting to get a little intimidated being stuck between two Williams of the same era, so I found her a new home. She is much happier now.

My very first really cheap deal. Still has a ways to go but it's cleaning up well.

Photos of my new arcade and machines in Texas.

Pinball Sales Flyers are original and represent machines I own or use to own, just missing one.
The 7-UP clock is original as well but the soda signage are reproductions.

Still room for 2 more games down the road! Hee-Haw

Update 12/12/14: The Phantom Gun game now has a bright and shiny new/used Coin Door (not shown in photo) along with a Spooky music cassette sound system that turns on only when the game is played and a 4" 1000 Point Bell, the last two items being modifications as this game never had these originally and it should be noted that the original sound card is still functional as well.

Enjoy!

Looking nice Ken.

I'm assuming the plating was bad on your Abra coin door and legs and you re-painted? Looks good.

Thanks hoov.

I bought ACD that way and plan to get all new chrome coin door parts and legs fron PBR once I get some $$.

Eventually I will have 5 single player pins, a gun,and submarine game.

Hoov, that was the ABCD I bought from Ken Head 20 months ago and sold and held for EM-PINMAN. That is the one with a very very nice playfield with super bright yellows. It is the machine that got me back into pinball after a 12 years of being away from the hobby. Ken will have a very solid game for years to come. The counter had 17k plays when I got it. I put about 1k plays on it and the meter busted at 17999 for some reason. The only reason I sold it was to finance my North Star which I "had to have" I love 2 inch flippers over the 3 inch flippers.

Ken, I am glad you are in Texas. It has been so much fun to hang out with you the 3 times we have hung out so far. I look forward to a lifelong friendship.

Great looking games and room Ken! Aren't you concerned about marring that nicely finished wood floor with the leg levelers though? May want to consider installing "pin footies" or similar protection if you haven't already.

Hey Tim!

I always make sure the new floors are protected and always use Marcos plastic bottom leg levelers or plastic wheels like on my Phantom Gun game. When I sell a game, I take them off and install new metal levelers so the plastic ones get recycled a lot on my games.

Good deal man - figured you'd have it covered. Glad to hear that nice looking floor will stay that way!

Ken-

Is Casino sporting a new BG? Moved my Casino around a bit this past weekend to make room for the newcomers.

Yup! Probably going to stay with two. If I find one of my more desirable wedgeheads I'll swap it in for Sky Jump. These are in my office next to my desk, solid states are in the garage, and it will probably stay solid state.

Congrats!

Couldn't agree more^^^^ . Make Sky Jump what I call the "6 months game". Play it for 6 months and rotate in a fresh wedgehead - just like when they were on route.

Yeah, exactly. It's a cool game, nice little ruleset, solid title, but not something I have any real emotional attachment to or anything.

#3235 4 years ago

Sky Jump isn't the best wedge head but it's still a great game. Mine does have some sentimental attachment. I give it more credit than most do.

Awesome! Just started tearing mine apart. Kind of toying with having my buddy clear and touching it up. I haven't even really played it much before I took it apart, but it seems like a blast.

I dunno, it seems like a bit of a sleeper, at least 2 people have already listed it in their top 5 single player EMs. I'm enjoying it.

Wow - I am so enjoying this thread - just started looking it over last night - will share pics of my handful of games as well at some point. Just got up to page 8 and the pics stopped loading. Same for most of the pages that follow except for a pic here and there that loads. Is there a way around this problem or am I the only one having it? Thanks in advance for any help!

I think there's a segment of time where Pinside lost some photos. Nothing to be done about it, just keep paging past them until you get back to where they're fixed.

A few pics on page are gone to, but the rest look ok. Enjoy exploring.

Here is my Klondike, very nicely restored by EM-PINMAN. Had this game (well, it was Goldrush) in my house when I was a kid. Great trip down memory lane to have one back again.

I wasn't planning on getting started with EM machines. It all started with a co-worker "My brother in-law has this pinball machine, he wants to sell, the tilt is stuck......". What was I supposed to do, leave him there to die? I had to give him a home, a stable environment. Then he didn't get along with Rudy, so i folded Rudy up. Then he was lonely......

Just added a second EM to my lineup... my Masquerade is not feeling lonely anymore.
And now I need a third one with drop targets!
