Oh, and it isn’t overpowering bright either. Blends in nicely with the rest.

Quoted from Pyromedic:I am a staunch incandescent bulb guy for older games, but for fun I tried out one of the “Flaming” bulbs for the “Canal Street” lamp post. I begrudgingly admit I really like the effect in this case! Gotta a pretty good score tonight too!
Nice effect. I used a similar LED lamp in the backglass of a Williams "Blue Chip". I used it where the workers are pouring molten steel out of the crucible.
It looked fantastic there.
Also have seen them used for the exhaust on supersonic jets on some backglasses. Amazingly cool effect!

I use the make-up (on a woman) analogy when it comes to using LEDs.
If it's applied tastefully and correctly, it really enhances the looks. If used improperly... well, you know!

I generally favor the incandescent bulbs as well, and have stocked up on them. Got a supply of the color incandescent ones as well. That being noted, a few years back Nico Volta redid my Cross Town with his "stealth LED" treatment, and I'd have to say the results were at least as good and probably better. Plus, the new lighting should last a great deal longer.
I'm not rushing to do this on other games -- not by myself, anyway -- but I'm remaining open minded about it.
Quoted from illawarra92:just bought this rare keeney colorama home, into the restoration queue. all there, parts are in the 2 plastic bags ontop of the head[quoted image]
I restored a Poker Face a few years back.. you've got your work cut out for ya there pardner... Keeney mechs have a lot to be desired - particularly kick-out and kicker mechanisms, flipper pawls, and those terribly designed nylon or plastic score reels - be careful the tines are very easy to break. If you decide to keep the game, I would suggest beefing up the start up sequence... its poor design allows the game to start at non-zero values on occasion. On the positive side their flip coils are strong and snappy. Hope you don't have to source a coil... Keeney coils are very hard to locate in the wild.
I needed to move some machines around and inadvertently ended up with a gambling theme row. Craps, roulette, slot machines, horse racing, and poker.
1972 Bally Little Joe
1973 Bally Monte Carlo
1978 Williams Lucky Seven
1977 Williams Hot Tip
1977 Williams Big Deal
I’m going to need to move them again but this will have to work for now.

Jealous of that Hot Tip!
Nice lineup and nice looking pins.

I'm glad you're finally getting to enjoy it!
Just added Target Pool to my lineup. Fully restored and playing so amazing. I'm actually in love with the fast pace action, chasing the lit arrows for 300 pts, nudging the ball off the top slingshot into the numbers targets, etc. Absolutely a game worth having in any EM lineup for sure.

For sure it is one of my favorite games growing up on route and in my collection too.
Nice collection you have there!

Hey Vic,
Funny thing is I watched your video on YouTube last night where you point out your top 5 wedgeheads. I watched many of your videos and marvel at your collection. I'm definitely amazed at your attention to detail for sure. Thanks for the kudos and all too. I'm about to start working on my Sing Along next. Should have that finished in a few months time, sans the playfield which is getting a clear coat.
PS. I wish I still lived in NJ as I would come visit.

I cannot wait for my target pool. Interestingly enough I found a body in NJ by accident while inquiring about other parts for another pinsider on the Facebook marketplace. Then I was able to find a head in Michigan which I’m picking up at Pinfest in two weeks. I matched them up within a few days so I’m grateful I didn’t have to hold onto them forever to match them up. I’m very grateful to the community for helping me get this game into one location as a whole.
I cannot wait for my target pool.
Grats on finding the pieces, and I think your gonna love it. I have heard from a few friends how fun the game was for a 60s era EM, but i didn't realize just how much fun it is. BTW, I added yellow dots to the flippers and it made a huge difference. Made the game even better than it was IMO
Quoted from AlexF:Great pic but I think at least a couple games have the wrong legs on 'em.

Yes, it has to go
Years back I went through a Time Zone. I liked the flashing tunnel, but when
I got a call on a nice but non-working Ice Show for a working machine, I had
to make the trade.

Like this play ball in the marketplace?

I can dig it. Your's looks to be in great shape. Your backglass is super nice! It's a fun machine.

I am in search of a (mostly) working "players" condition King of Diamonds as in a missing BG, blown out, low/no art woody wagon in a decent unflooded coffin. PM me if you got a lead on one or have one smelling up your storage shed.

Quoted from poppapin:A little tight in there! How do you remove the playfield glass?
Better question is, are they even fun to play like that?
My Formal Dining Roo- er excuse me, that's game room- was looking like that and I turned the right side machines 90 degrees and placed them back to back- but I have an "open" floor plan (which is just French for big ass openings in and out of rooms) so there is no wall on that side of the room as it transitions into the front foyer so your ass just hangs out in the foyer while you play Central Park or Bank a Ball. The coziest you have to get is when your playing Family Guy on the left side, your butt cheeks hang on Bank a Ball's playfield behind you, but since Bank a Ball has 2" shorter legs on it right now, it fits my backside like an Ergonomic chair and really lets me nudge the heck out of Stewie, Lois, Meg and Peter et al...

Gotta clean off that camera lens, it’s got that Barbra Waters filter effect going!
Picked up a Sky Line today. Cleaned up pretty well considering I don’t think it had been waxed in 20 years.

I can understand. Many of those later wedgeheads do nothing for me, and I'd flip them if I would come across one. They seem very popular. I have a "Neptune", and I like that one, but "Rock Star"/"Blue Note" would be an instant flip for me.

Agreed, any body that loves Gordon's work (I'm guilty) are attracted to these pins. Too bad the gameplay doesn't match the level of the artwork.
