Looks like it's in the garage to me?
All kidding aside, looks like a nice example! Congrats!

My workshop, was part of a lot buy last month and I was able to clear out enough pins yesterday to set it up and give it a try.
Have some minor refurbishment to do and then I'll decide what to do with it.

Looks exceptionally nice! Ours has the traditional spotty Williams backglass, some flipper drag marks and pop bumper platter marks. Fun game though. Probably the most relays of all of ours.

It is pretty nice; I'm going to tune and touch up a bit and might bundle it with Firepower for a quick sale. Trying to draw down the workshop so I can get back to making progress on playfield restorations.
Have any of you fellas ever clear coated a play filed that has star rollovers and didn't remove the whole insert?
Thus making the contact a little harder to activate?
Well with the help swinks we " may " have the answer. In attached photo see if you can pick the new design which has an addition 1mm raise on the star itself giving it a much better contact area.
I have only installed on and tweaked my back so had to stock.
Now I am looking for advice on how the best and easiest way to install and adjust switch of stars,
can any Gurus assist please
Could this be the greatest EM invention ever?

That looks very nice!
Finally added Super Straight to the lineup. It took a long time to thoroughly go through it, but I’m extremely pleased with the result. It’s a fast pin with lots to shoot for, and a fairly complex ruleset.
I started out by solidifying the all-too-typical deteriorating Sonic particle-board cabinet last summer. I found some great products to work on that. If anyone is interested, I started a thread about that:

I also posted the few touch-up paint colors I used on the touch-up paint color thread:

Had an Aladdins Castle at one time. Forgot about that game. It was a nice player and fun. Looks like you found a real nice example. Enjoy.

This game is my entry drug into pinball. 1977, Myrtle Beach, SC - played this game and never forgot the genie on the BG - how could you? First pin I acquired (I have two now just because...
Did a 1000 mile round trip for this project yesterday. Just sweaty enough to require a complete restore with great cabinet hardware and the playfield will clean up perfectly. I’ll restore and repaint the cabinet, clearcoat the playfield, new backglass. Going to be sweet. Finally a cabinet refinish that’s not a red white and blue.

Looks sharp. I suggest Montana marble effect spray for webbing if you are using rattle cans like I do. Comes in black blue red and silver I believe. I was using Montana spider effect but it’s more difficult to work with it comes out so fast.

That's dedication. It looks like it's got good bones and will clean up very nicely. Why not keep such a great machine original? Does the pf need touchups? Is the cabinet art trashed?

I like restoring pins as much as playing them & my preference is full restore on my pins. I have 2 very nice originals and neither of them are safe if I get a wild hair. As for this one, the bottom panel of the cabinet is delaminated, cabinet integrity not great so that’s got to be done. Mechanically it’s been in storage for decades as can be seen by the state of the petrified rubber. Likely steppers all bad, sockets bad by now. It’ll need a thorough cleaning so if I’m going in I’m going in heavy. The playfield will need very little touchups but once done it’ll need clearcoat. Test cleaned and ball swirl is coming out. The legs are salvageable and the door is fantastic.
