Here is my current line up of EM's. King of Diamonds isnt mine and my Volley didnt make the picture because its still in the repair area of the garage. But Evel Knievel photo bombed.

HAHA! yeah, had to move them out of the way for a Pinball Party last night. These are the before party pics

I'm so glad two of them made the long journey safely. Enjoy the "Free Fall", and had DH claimed his "KOD" yet?

Yes I had a pinball party at my house lastnight and he came down and took it home when it was over.

Nice lineup. btw, I am up in Sac. bought a garage door insulating kit (foam panels with clear vinyl on one side) from Lowe's and it really made a difference in the temperature and sound in the garage "gameroom".

Showing some love to my Sure Shot recently. 43 new plastic posts to replace the chipped and broken hodgepodge of posts that it came to me with. Also experimenting a little with LED bulb colours for the different pool balls.

It took me six months, but this sample Big Deal is now officially in the lineup, with all mechanicals thoroughly gone through, backglass sealed and touched up, and playfield touched up and clearcoated. It was worth the wait. It’s a fun pin.

I don't have this machine, but I just noticed something in that pic that just
might seem a little bit off other than who the hell jumps/gets thrown off a
plane. Anyone else notice anything?

Landing gear.

Yup. Some of the rear may be partially down,
but the front is..
Maybe they thought jumping was better than
crash landing..

Buccaneer jammed in between a couple others. It gets a lot of play from my 3 kids (and me). A handful of LEDs added to the playfield. Always looking for clean EMs like this one.

Regarding that Bally "Bon Voyage" artwork with the guys jumping out with the suitcase....anyone remember D.B. Cooper? Dave Christensen did the art for this one and that seems like something he would have snuck in just for a laugh.

Looks amazing Sea_Wolf! I love the red floor and all of your machines. How many electrical circuits do you have for all of them?

Thanks. There’s actually only 2 circuits but so far so good. 8 on one and 4 on the other.

Used to be a 9’ pool table in the center but the machines kept multiplying so I had to store it lol.

Which has a more dramatic effect - a lineup of wedgeheads or multi-players?

#12981 2 years ago

Can't we have both?!?

New to the forum and just starting out. Just picked up my first pinball machine, On Beam. It needs some attention, but seems to be in decent shape. I’m happy to take it on!

Clean looking pin too!

I think On-Beam has some of the best "space age" artwork on any game in recent memory. It's a great game too, with shockingly complex rules and some fun mechanical tricks! Awesome pickup!

Yeah, but this one is a kit conversion one made from an EM "Continental Cafe". There aren't many of those around!

Thanks all for the welcoming comments! Unfortunately, I started having issues (aside from not having enough room for more machines at the moment almost as soon as I plugged it in. More pictures and questions about this machine in a new thread here https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/on-beam-em-newbie#post-6717311.

My 2 EMs. Hot Tip is definitely a forever keeper. Most fun EM I have ever played. Spooksville is really unique and cool...but may sell down the road if I need the room.

Have you considered putting the Spooksville on roller casters.
It makes it more fun to really give the machine a shake.

The playfield has that clay dust from the original rubbers which will clean up and it’ll shine like a champ. 26k plays and the schematic still taped to the back panel. Looking forward to cranking the tunes in the garage, some IPAs and a rewarding shop job.
