Quoted from Rat_Tomago:

Hoov swap the parts on the bottom of the playfield. Don't deal witht he drilled hold and contact paper. It will be more difficult but more rewarding in the end. Oh and congratulations on the score.

Thanks Rat - I'm leaning in that direction. Won't get to it for some time though. My turn-around on games isn't all that great.........

#1202 5 years ago

check under the wood grain protectors . they might have been put on early before damage but more than likely after the damage. the post between the flippers is a common issue with these
from what I can see in the pictures you posted they both look good. the white powder cleans off easy. red rust is the problem that is a bitch.

and your crystal ball is a good sign but I will not hold my breath

#1203 5 years ago

my turn around is pretty good I did the slick chick start to finish 10 days

that jungle princess looks HUO. even the coin box shines
i hade the Jungle queen and it was one of my favorite multi players
Welcome to the EM world

#1212 5 years ago

That Jungle Princess does look nice. Reminds me of the Jungle Queen I sold a few years back. Those games from that era weren't beat up so bad their predecessors. If only I had more room to keep games like these..........

i think that with the SS pins coming out these late ems were not on location very long and made it into private collections.

The girlfriend gets all of the credit for cleanup once I got the pin home. Although it wasn't especially dirty to begin with, she really put a shine on it. If the play counter is to be trusted, it shows a little over 25,300 plays.
But yeah, this is one of the nicest condition EM games I've ever seen... so I had to have it! Plays great too. Just need to learn how to make some adjustments. The player two score reel sometimes turns along with player one. But when player two is up, everything works as it should & the player one reel doesn't turn. But I suppose I should start a tech thread for that.
Anyhoo, thanks for the nice comments & thumbs up! I'm loving this Jungle Princess.

common problem, check your player unit a switch is out of adjustment on player 1

Nice pin!

I recently paid too much for a box of schematics but one of the gems was a JP envelope.

Original schematics
Original coin shute schematics
Original manual
Original instructions cards
Original replay score cards and card with 3 and 5 ball scores.
All very nice condition.

It will be going on ebay when I get round to it as there can't be many of these. Boy, would I love one of these sets for some of my games! Anyway shoot me pm if of interest.

I called him to see when they would be ready. He told me he was still looking for a glass to get to his screen printer.
He asked if I would mind helping by sending mine off directly to the screen printer.
It is all packed up and leaving today.

#1224 5 years ago

i must of misunderstood him, either way i am looking forward to this glass.

Maybe its his prayer rug. Praying to the Em gods that is.

Nice lineup and it fits perfect.

#1235 5 years ago

I think the pin line-up brought about a Rat Hand Stand Of Jubilation on the carpet! Hallelujah!

#1236 5 years ago

LOL at the hand print comments. I spent time under each one making sure they were level. I had to move and re-arrange them around to my liking. A big thanks to one of my friends that spend the day helping me pick up the Card Whiz at the STI terminal. Again they sat on my machine for over 24 hours without calling me for a delivery. We ate pizza and had a blast! Thanks for all the nice comments guys! BTW I still have room for 2 more machines in this room and then I have a whole other bedroom (nursery size) that will fit another 3 or 4 machines.

Yeah that's what you say now, pretty soon you will be blowing out walls, moving stairwells, burning diningroom furniture, and pitching the couch to the curb to make more room...

Oh, I forgot. the elusive second mortgage for the addition !

#1238 5 years ago

if you have a garage, and currently use it for your car, keep in mind that that too will soon come to an end !

Your car will be outside

#1239 5 years ago

Hahaha. Funny you should say this. I did the math...6 in one bedroom, 3 in another bedroom not being used, 3 in my computer room, 4 in my dining room that doesn't get used and then after that I could move the TV and couch across the room to the other side of the living room to make room for another 4 machines. In my master bedroom I have room for 1 machine near my side of the bed = room for 21 machines. LOL. My wife would tolerate maybe 12-16 of them. The first 9 would see no resistance since we never have guests since our immediate families live a long way away. Mine are 1800 miles away in California and Ohio. My wife's relatives live in Hawaii. We have no kids or I would make them sleep on the porch.

#1240 5 years ago

Can't do that car outside the garage. I don't feel like hail damage on my car. Even thought that could be another 15 machines. LOL!

#1241 5 years ago
Quoted from Rat_Tomago:

This looks great. I noticed the hand prints too. Have you thought about using foot pads for the carpet. The carpet will be damaged by the metal feet. Okay, so the pins that are not visible are not EM's? LOL, Like a new OZ or Metallica. Tell us its OK. LOL.

I want the backglass on that one, I like all the hippie art like 4 square and a few others

#1247 5 years ago

Finally played a game on it last night. I thought it was pretty fun for a game from the early, early 70's. It's slower than later GTB games but it's got some fun touches. I love me some pop bumpers down by the flippers and these didn't disappoint. Being the first Gottlieb game with drops, they definitely didn't know what to do with them. Didn't take em long to figure it out though.

It is pretty great. It's a machine that could just be kept for the art alone.

My Zig-Zag - I bought it for the cool backglass animation. This machine is one of my favorites to simply chill out on. Rules are simple and play is fast. Still debating repainting the cabinet, I sort of like the well used look.

And my 1955 Chicago Coin Bullseye Pitch and Bat. Still working on my restore, need to shop out the steppers and relays. Am also planning on restoring original paint that is buried underneath a coat of red and operator somewhere along the way applied to the machine. I need to get this one up on IPDB, there is a "Deluxe" version in the catalog with photos, but mine doesn't have the match feature and doesn't have the "deluxe" name on it's backglass.
