Quoted from Raff:

I had a bin stolen so i painted that on there and the bin is still with us.
Raff

Yeah fair enough Raff. Good idea.
re the webbing...I didn't actually notice it was missing. Observant aren't I? lol
I don't really like it anyway, I prefer the speckle look. And I really dislike the cracked paint look that my Recel has.

Thanks for the tip on the webbing spray cans Joe, I didn't know that.

I left the webbing out i have never done it before there are cans you can buy that are for webbing maybe the next project i will give it a go.
Raff

The webbing from a can is easy but it does come out heavy. I’ve posted a short video of doing a cabinet with the canned stuff

Finally moved the Teacher's Pet into the game room. It is completely shopped minus some flipper tweaks. I also replaced a hand full of coils that had metal sleeves which couldn't be removed. The game had a dreadful hand painted cabinet when I got it. I didn't feel like doing a full cab restoration and stencil, so I did a quick repaint using masking tape and a circle cutter. I took the liberty of changing a few things around including making the apples red instead of green. It's very similar to the original cab art and colors, but I like mine better. I never liked the original art and colors, though I've only seen it in pictures.
The game is challenging and a lot of fun. Will most likely be a keeper!

Its the standing therapy they need, though I have caught a few playing from wheelchairs!

Btw, there is a great wheelchair flipper button box that can be built if you wanted to really let your wheel chair bound patients play. Couple of threads on it, or PM me and I will send pics and description of the one I built.

You did a super nice job. Looks way better than the all orange painted one I had.

I use one of our standers w/o the
tray for my people to play pinball
in our PT Dept. It works good to get
in a weightbearing position and have
some fun.

Quoted from o-din:

Thanks. I'm tired of cabinet restores, so it takes a lot for me to actually do one. I've become very forgiving of scratches and dents these days. All orange might have looked better than what my cabinet looked like when I got it.

It did turn out nice considering I did it with a paint brush, frisket and masking tape. I used "mural paint". The coverage was great with just two thin brush coats. I brushed the whole cabinet with Minwax Polycrylic satin clear once the paint was done. That gave some protection and a little extra shine to the paint.

The legs and coin door were done with Rustoleum Hammered paint. I'm waiting on the coin door stickers from down under.

Looks sweet, John. You know who’s got dibs when you get tired of it. I’m also on the hunt for a TP, but I know if I buy yours it’ll come pre-tweaked and dialed-in. You are my EM Yoda. Enjoy, homie.

Wow, that's great. Wouldn't fit well in my game room garage. So guess will have to live with the flipper button box. But great that your patients have that available. Thanks for the pic.

I personally like the chrome legs and standard side rails better. I just haven’t wanted to pull the trigger on new legs and rails right now. Been concentrating on other projects first. Need to find a local person who wants to trade a new set for my powder coated legs. Lol

Nice collection and nice looking room. Do you happen to know the dimensions of that room? I'm planning the forever gameroom and really like your arrangement. Also, does the lights along the wall work good while playing as far as reflections and such? i've not tried any like that yet.

Thanks.

Room is roughly 14’ x 30’

Lights - So this is something I have been messing with for a while. Didn’t want something to bright but wanted some light. So far everyone who has been in my game room loves them. I personally love the looks of them and it does not affect game play In My opinion. I’ll get some pics with and with out the lights.

Is that $60.00 for a pinball machine in 1968. Sweet piece of pinball history!

Quoted from Pin-Pilot:

7 year old used pinball machine

Inflation Calculator says $60 in 1968 is about $450 in 2020,
which about right for that era pin nowadays.
