Quoted from NinJaBooT:

Ouch, buddy wanted 200 each

They may be worth that, I don't know. but I think that would be on the high side of their value. I don't know about Table Tennis, but the Darts version gets old fast. It's quite boring. However, I like it for it's uniqueness.

BTW, I was taking USD.

I had to have this gem ... Don't see these pop up often.

Nice Dogies! I have one of these in the storage unit waiting it’s turn. Unfortunately, mine had it’s cabinet art stripped and primered in dark gray by the previous owner. Could I ask you to take some straight on photos of the cabinet when you get a chance? I’d appreciate it!

Thanks!

I can but mine was shot as well ... Seems most of these are.
I would recommend the pics on IPMDB That is what I used on top of the old that I had to work with.
I normally wouldn't paint a cabinet but I had no choice on this one.

I saw that Ad for this machine, if its the same one you really did an excellent job!

Beautiful game. I have never got to play this particular zipper flipper Bally. Maybe one day

Here's another recent restoration. Still getting a few small bugs out of it but basically plays now. Sample game with 28000 plays on the meter and it looks like it. Did a few minor touch-ups but this game was pretty clean. Fun late 70s Gottlieb multiplayer. Great eye candy on that artwork too!

I started doing scheduled preventive maintenance and repair on all my basement wedgeheads recently. I managed to complete 15 out of 25 from the line up already. My C-37 plays better than it ever did. Just 10 more to go!

You got me thinking about my Centigrade 37, need to give it a PM as well.

#11315 5 years ago

Got my 1st and 2nd em Hokus Pokus supposedly works and Night Rider EM well it looks to be complete but needs a back-glass and a playfeild. Its got bad planking and paint falling off just looking at it was told its a parts box this i don't believe unless it all chewed up inside.

Our Night Rider EM is one of our favorite games, on the "do not sell" list.

#11317 5 years ago

Yes honey...
I know we have to finish the shopping.
But this aint gonna fix itself.
Gimme a minute and I’ll get it outta the kitchen...

Decided to try clearing a game after all the posts I'd seen on Pinside and Alladins Castle was the winner - about 5 coats on here, mostly due to a lot of insert leveling - a lot of work but worth it.

Yes Merry Christmas Darcy and all!

And nice photo - i’ll be taking down Atlantis and putting up Abra over the holiday too

Darcy – remind me does your strange world playfield have wear around all of the numbers? I am close to finishing up some vinyl protector decals for mine like I did for spin out – so if you’re interested let me know

Merry merry

I'm shopping a Royal Flush for a friend and working on the head first. This is what I found when I pulled the head relay board back.

Unfortunately the playfield and, especially the cabinet, are not this nice. Needless to say it will be a blast to play when I'm done with it.

Almost finished refurb of 4 Square. Need to find new back glass and have 1 annoying electrical issue. But play field was really rough and came out much better than I expected.

Picked up a non working Grand Prix a few weeks ago and finally got it shopped out and working! The kids were actually fighting over who gets to play it.

Does anyone here know the best place to source a new backdoor lock on a Williams Grand Prix or have a pic of what the lock is supposed to look like? Mine was drilled out and was missing the latch. thanks!

It's a standard 7/8" lock you can get in a lot of places. A couple of examples:

Thanks. I figured that was the case but when I tried a 7/8 lock it didn't line up right. It was too high and hit the bracket. The hole on the door is about 1/2" too high which has me puzzled.

#11348 5 years ago

Maybe your game has the wrong door.

In those instances, where the door fits but the lock doesn’t, or it doesn’t have a lock, I use a drywall screw as the lock.

#11349 5 years ago

The Locking arm on Modern 7/8 locks, is usually the problem. If you have an old lock that has a shorter lock arm or you can grind it down oh, it would likely work. I have seen this issue several times. I usually try to recycle the old one if I've removed an old lock. I usually use standard PBR locks that are all keyed alike.
