Finally had a chance to unwrap the Williams Post Time I got from arppop - great condition as described and fantastic packing to get it shipped to me. He took great care to make sure it arrived in one piece. I've got lots going on and have had the machine sitting in my storage area for a month now.

Unpacked it, rebuilt both flippers, new sleeves, ground down coil stops, new PF glass, filed the flipper switch contacts and she is ready to play. What a fun game and (if you're into horses like we are) a wonderful horse racing theme. Love the third hidden flipper that pops the ball back into play. It shows if you have earned that feature with a horseshoe on the back glass. I've got a little art touch-up to do on the PF, then I will clear coat along with my Twin Win. One of only 3 EMs that I own but I really enjoy them. And they're off!!

Here’s my 1970 Strike Zone, I bought this machine about 30 years ago, was one of the first (and only) machines that didn’t need much more than a little cleaning. I just finished giving a good going over, new rubbers, cleaned and waxed the play field, fixed the flaking paint apron, the “up post” kept breaking bulbs when it went down, so I finally addressed that, cleaned up the coin door and painted the legs, and some othe misc stuff.

It’s a great playing game, the backglass is beautiful, the playfield has some very slight wear, this is the only game I have now, it’s the sole survivor of my collection, and I plan on keeping it around for another 30 years.

Thanks, when I bought it I opened it up and it was so clean, no hacks, I knew this one was a keeper. It’s always been sitting in the AC, humidity down here is really tough on them. I’d love to get another EM, but I have no more room in the house, and I really don’t want to keep one in my garage or shop.

Only room for one in the entire house? There must be something you can get rid of to make room for some more? ...

Ahhhh.... those days where 2 or 3 pinballs in the living room were the norm......

I picked up a Space Mission last week. I replaced the bulbs in the backbox and under the playfield. It had a light cleanup. Once I get the new rubber, I'll do a better cleanup and change out the bulbs on the playfield. This is my first EM. It had nails replacing a broken ball guide. As soon as my Titan shipment arrives, it should be good to go. 141 lightbulbs.

Very nice ! I’m jealous, from what I can see it’s a pretty nice machine, one of the last WMS EM 4 Players. What condition is the backglass ? Keeps us informed.

Hi everyone!

Been a few months since I have done anything pin related aside from minor repairs; since I have gone back to work in the healthcare field my time has been very limited! I'm helping one of my best friends get his father's facility back on track, he is going over the books and contracts getting finances in order while I'm doing what I do best running maintenance, laundry and housekeeping and getting the building back up to snuff.

One thing we do for our residents and staff is throw a BBQ party outdoors every month which is attended by a local DJ who does trivia and hands out prizes. Everyone has a great time and I thought I'd step things up for the next one which is a staff car show to go along with the cookout! We have about 6-7 people with muscle cars and sports cars which will be on display during the cookout.

So how do you top that? Bring a pin along of course! I dusted off Big Star which had been sitting in the corner of my shop for several months but I had gone through it so it was functioning 100%. I had planned on doing a re-theme but have just been too busy. Cleaned and waxed the playfield, tuned up a few minor issues and I'm planning on painting the legs this week. She has had a hard life (I actually glued the cabinet back together a few months ago) so I'm not concerned if she picks up a few new scratches. If it turns out to be as popular as I think it will be, might become a fixture in our recreation dept. Next cook out is the 25th! I'll take pictures and post when it happens.

Just saw a Super Star with a crazy price of $1,000. Funny thing is I tried to buy one for $350.00 that worked in Illinois last year.

I was wondering what happened to you. I guess you didn’t make Pintastic either.

Picked this up Friday. Drove 3-1/2 hours to Cleveland suburb to get it (from another Pinsider). Took me 3 days to get it working. Had all kinds of issues, undisclosed. Pretty disappointing to drive that far to get something not as described. Got it home and fixed all the sloppy work the previous owner had done to it. But it's working now and looks ok. Going to attempt some touch up on the backglass while I look for a better one. Happy to have a Teacher's Pet. My mother (retired) and daughter are teachers!

Awesome! I think you will find an enormous amount of interest, both from the fun of playing and when you talk about the mechanics of the EM's - they are a real eye-opener for anyone mechanically inclined.

Helping one of my best friends get this grand old lady back on her feet, hard to say no. I was director for 4 years before stepping down, I did not see eye to eye with former management at the time who seemed more interested in... not addressing issues I had brought to their attention.

They are all gone now, funny that. Bill comes due sooner or later.

She is coming along just fine, firing on all cylinders now.

Former mansion from the late 1800's, turned nursing home in 1954, 60 bed wing added to right side in 1994. Currently 30 bed long term care, 30 bed short term care. Knees, hips, respite and hospice, that sort of thing. Fully staffed physical therapy department.

Teacher's Pet looks like a title that is fun to play, hopefully some day I'll get a chance to play one.

I thought I had it all fixed, but still finding a few minor bugs to work out. Meanwhile, I have been playing it and IT IS REALLY FUN! This game is what pinball is all about!

Latest addition to the Cave: 1975 Williams Little Chief. Definitely a players machine, as most of mine are. Looks a little incongruous next to the P3 but I like the contrast

Little Chief is fun. I had one for awhile. Good player.

Me too. Fun game. Little Chief kind of sneaks up on you. At first it feels like there is much going on but once you learn the subtlety of the rule set it's a lot of fun.

My original first thoughts after I played Little Chief were blah, but I hold to blame that I did not read the rule set and understand the gameplay. After I learned it I really started to enjoy it. Collect bonus in game play. Thumbs up.

Here's me back in the late sixties, playing a 1965 Williams Big Chief. One of these days, I need to pose for a photo in the same manner, as an adult, with hands fused to flipper buttons, in front of a Big Chief. Perhaps someone will bring one to Pinfest next year and I will fulfill that objective.

There actually was one for sale at Pinfest in the flea market area. I believe it was the 2017 show.

Another game I remember brand new in the local arcade. It was a very fast and fun game at the time.

Cedar Mar Yacht Club on Barnegat Bay in Toms River, NJ, established in 1966, where my family docked a boat. I suspect that the photo was taken around 1967, when I was 8 years old. My brother, 3 years my senior, is on the far left.

Note that I am the only kid who declined to remove hands from flipper buttons for the photo. It's no surprise that pinball became my hobby of choice.

This game came out of the Pacific Pinball Museum auction in June 2018, another Rocket III (Bally, 1968)

They held the game for me to purchase, as I needed a replacement for the same title I own as a Ted Zale "zipper flipper" collector.
Cabinet is a repaint using the sample production (blue) versus standard production (black) colors.
Other than a few creative mods, very solid game / fully functional for $800.
Superb playfield and backglass.

You haven't seen my Dimension. NOS playfield

Custom pop bumper decals that will be removed. Not factory. Similiar to the Rocket III emblems on the siderails in enamel, not easily removed, so they will stay as they match the cabinet paint.

Today, I finally scored a "Cards Themed Gottlieb". It was in storage for 20 years.

Adam, Your NOS Dimension playfield sounds fantastic.
Nic Schell recommends swapping the kick-out hole solenoids, which are too strong, with others in the stock game, which are too weak. If I had a NOS Dimension or 2001 playfield, I would follow his advice to avert wear at the top.

Alas, my 2001 sustained typical wear, in 2 spots, which I touched up. Fortunately, the wear stopped short of multiple-colored areas, making the touch-up an easy task.

Post a photo of your NOS Dimension playfield, Adam. That's a rare bird, for sure.

Two screws on that triangle better than just a couple spots of glue like I found on my Fashion Show when I dug into it. Lucky the head didn't just break apart there and fall forward.

How deceiving it is when you look at the game from the front with that big trim on the head and you open it up and find how shoddy and cheap the construction really was.

Edit- mine had bolts but head was falling apart.
