One "g" in "Dogies".

I knew that after I wrote it, but not knowing which one to take
away, and not wanting to take any chances, I left it..
Playing a few games on our 1964 Williams PALOOKA before it goes up for sale or trade. Great presence, and fun gameplay with no technical issues but I'm looking for a woodrail or maybe a classic wedgehead to take it's spot someday. Thanks to O-din for giving us the chance to own and enjoy this game!
Have a Happy, Healthy and Prosperous New Year all.

There was one for sale out here in CT a few months ago, sold quick and vanished without trace.

Vanished to your garage?
Just finished a 1962 GTB Flipper Clown restoration. Several mechanical and electrical issues with game when received. Thanks to Mopar and Pinbee for their help. Playfield stripped and rebuilt including art touch up. Everything in the head, under play field, and on motor board removed, units disassembled and rebuilt. New ID labels made for all the relays. New score cards made. New door and trim. Start switch added to door. Interesting rule set. Possibility for several extra balls during a game. Have it set at 4.5 degrees play angle for new owner.

That game looks very nice.
Got this in this evening. Solid cabinet and surprised about the condition of the backglass, it won't need to be replaced. Should have this machine looking great later this year. Wade Krause playfield to start. Machine actually plays well and keeps correct score.
Just picked this Royal Flush up from the Facebook marketplace. It’s got some bonus wear, but the backglass is decent enough. For $300, I felt it was a decent enough deal.
I’ve always liked these Gottlieb games with the “scanning bonus.” It definitely adds a different spin on things. You really have to earn those bonus points!
Yow! That's an old-school $300 deal right there... haven't seen those lately. Well, not in the usual places.

No sir, I was not quick enough.
Looks like a cool title.

So jealous! I'm still bummed about the 2001 I missed out on last month. Can't wait to see it when your done working on it. After my 2001 deal fell through I bought a project Mata Hari. Unfortunately it's not the EM version but still excited about doing a restoration.
I am bummed to inform everyone that I will be getting a divorce and I am forced to sell all of my pinball machines I have left (3 of them) You should easily be able to find my 3 games for sale in the for sale ads. 1948 Gottlieb Buccaneer, 1952 Gottlieb Queen of Hearts and a 1952 Gottlieb Coronation. If this posting is not allowed then please just kindly edit it. I would hope that this posting would be a catch all post to explain why I might not be seen on here anymore possibly for years to come. I enjoyed everyone's postings and help on here for the last 4 years. It has been a good time.
Thanks,

That sucks. Sorry to hear it.
Sorry, Dan.
Bad news.
I hope it goes as smoothly as possible for you.
If you ever make it up north, you can look me up and play mine!
Good luck, E
Sorry to read this Dan. Best of luck in your future. Times may get tough. You can get through this. Things will get much better. Cheers!
Thank you guys for your kind words. All 3 games are sold. Thank you to that person. You know who you are and I am giving you a virtual hug and handshake.

Sad to hear the sad situation, but once your back on your feet,
I'm sure they'll be 4 others with you..
Hang in there. *Good luck*

That is sad news Dan. I remember from our correspondence re your Surf Side how passionately you regarded your machines.
Dan, so sorry. Been there myself. But there is life after divorce. And do your best to keep it civil. For your benefit. Hope to see u back.

Sad to hear Dan about the marriage and pinball going away. I can't do anything about the marriage part but if you ever are in our area down the road and want to chat and play pinball just give me a call. Hopefully you are still going to TPF and we can chat in person there. Take care, as others have said, things will get better in time. Best of luck to you.

Quoted from Mcshaney:Pick it this up two months ago for a decent price . I can't get over the instruction cards
Odd thing about that game is that the unlit blue area at the top of the backglass always seems to let go. I have one exactly the same way.
Dan, sorry to see you go. Try to think positive through it all and embrace life which is too short.
Bruce

Congrats Dan. That didn't take long at all. Thanks for offering me the opportunity to get my old games back.

I think that's a great idea for parties. Win free beers by beating the scores in the instruction card or win a beer for each replay.

If that's how you feel about it, I'll bring my own beer!
I've had this game for over two years and it took about half that time to restore new playfield from Wade and backglass from Shay everything is brand new. The aim was to rebuild the machine to a new in box condition. It's a pleasure to play and just as good to look at hopefully it will servive another 40 years. I have a sky jump and a Abra that I will be completing in the near future.

OK! BYOB pinball parties then!

Here are some before and after picks of my 1953 Gottlieb Poker face. My 3rd EM and my first woodrail.
No automotive clear coat and I haven’t replaced the backglass. (Outside my budget).
Thanks to all of the pinheads on this site. I didn’t post any question, because someone else had a similar issue and posted a fix.

Here are some before and after picks of Williams 1959Golden Bells. This machine was moved to a trade winds cabinet and repainted, before I picked it up.

"Poker Face" Brut! Waiting for my Shay repro backglass. I need that center green pop bumper cap too. Great game and a great first woodrail.
