Hi Deal is my pride and joy!

I love Hi Deal. That's my only EM at the moment and I can't see ever letting it go. So fun.

I can't get over how clean your cab looks. Great looking machine you have there.

Dayhuff...Nice Canada Dry and rare Charlie's Angels EM

Quoted from BenetBoy78:

The Frontiersman and Daisy May are unmatched and gave the players the same feeling in 1954-56 as AC/DC does today. Pinball.....it's timeless.

Nice Woodrails!

Oh Dr. Joe! I love Slick Chick! It is on my gotta have list.

5280wzrd..Nice Buccaneer!

Garrett : I recently got to play a Cleopatra EM and loved it!

Stevens: Your machines are a true work of art! I love the Flying Carpet resto! So salmon pink!

Tallblonde: Use Simple Green (full strength) and a Magic Eraser (get them both at Walmart) Use it slowly at first inch by inch and start with an area that is inconspicuous first. Use shop towels wipe it clean. You will be shocked at how much dirt and nicotine comes out of the original paint. Just go slow and rub lightly in 1-2 inch patches at a time.

O-din: I have to agree. I looked through all 15 pages of the EM forums and couldn't believe someone hadn't started a thread like this already.

Everyone else: I love all the posts! Keep them coming! I love getting on pinside and seeing this thread full of cool pics.

Playfield has been clear coated and its perfect to this day.

Beautiful restorations Stevens... absolutely gorgeous!

I'm more of an SS/DMD guy, but I've gotten my hands dirty on a few EM's over the past two years... I'm keeping this Old Chicago, (love the theme and Deco artwork) This will be my first cabinet restoration, when I get around to it. The game has otherwise been cleaned and fixed with one tiny modification (I added a light under the top rollover).

Rat_Tomago: Cleopatra doesn't get much love at all. I was very hesitant about buying it due to it's rating and comments.

Actually, the pin is a real gem. This is Gottlieb's first rectified playfied and it plays incredibly fast. So fast that the ball speed does outpace the score motors ability at times.

The table penalizes bad shots quite ruthlessly due to it's layout and that's why it's hated by many.

The pin has great artwork, very good rules and requires solid shooting skills. It's a great pin that keeps me coming back over and over again.

I really like playing the King of Diamonds one of Gottliebs top 10 IMO.

I never tire of KOD - definitely a 60"s classic similar to muscle car classics!

You brought this out to RMPS 3-4 years ago, right? I remember seeing your EMs with the PDI glass and they looked spectacular.

Yes. Both my Centigrade 37 and Joker Poker won numerous awards over the years including Best In Show, First Place EM's and on.

I'm mostly a DMD, SS guy but I have wicked pride in my EM games. No collection is complete without one.

Quoted from blondetall:

Just rescued her from my parents' garage. I've got the playfield cleaned up, am waiting on new bulbs so that I can get them all working, and am trying to figure out how to clean the cabinet. I shopped it out for them last fall, then they let it sit in their garage with stuff piled on top, so had to give her a good home. Plays great, and is actually more fun than I originally thought it would be.

Can't you just repaint the cab? Or touch up?...seems like a pretty easy pattern...

I can see why you're holding on to it Kim. Very nice. I'm looking for one too - just need a little patience.......

#71 6 years ago

I tend to like the ss's with the chime box. Cheater EM. Im scarred of all that wire, lol.

On that note, any one interested in a project bally show time?

#72 6 years ago

Bummer, had this thread come out in a year or so, I could show off my wedgehead lineup.
I bought each machine to be fully restored and I'm working my way trough them... starting with C37. Just applying the final clearcoat this week.
The others are El Dorado, Spin Out, Jacks Open and Volley.
All are folded up or in pieces right now. I'm in the process of moving.

Kim, that's a beauty!
My first EM and still my favorite!

#73 6 years ago

FWIW, I've got pics of the EMs tucked away here:
http://www.pinballowners.com/dirtflipper

I'm a slave to originality, so no repaints or clear coats here I'm afraid.

Great pictures guys.I always thought spin a card should have been a wedgehead so I did one both ways.

Thanks to everyone who has posted. It is nice to see so many well kept EMs. It makes my sad to think how many EMs ended up in dumpsters back in the day when they came off route. Here is my latest.

Great EM's all! Think we've only seen a couple dupes, which amazes me.

Commenting to track this thread and remind myself to post pics of my first EM machine later, and my second EM machine when I pick it up hopefully in a couple weeks!

#82 6 years ago

Vinny and Kim,
Thanks for the nice compliments.A lot of nice EM's here.Old Chicago looks interesting and World Fair and 2001 are on my list.

I saw that game for the first time in ages at Allentown. Brought back memories.

Always enjoy seeing pics of your "projects", Steve!

I recently joined the Space Mission owner club, btw. Got a nice one in a 2 pin package deal.

Kind of over the moon about it.

So why are the pics blowing up to monster size?

Why is it still in Colorado? They picked it up a week ago yesterday!!!
Email me privately or call. Don't want to high jack this thread but that's seriously screwed up.

How much were you paid as the model for the backglass?

Almost had a Flip Flop but time kills all deals. I really like the outlane configuration on the game, very unique.
Dan

Here is my Flip Flop. Pretty nice specimen.

Then my favorite "Fli A Card". Cabinets not great, but it plays like a dream.

And my latest project "Space Mission". Cabinet and glass is a mess, but I have everything working.

Sold my Full House to make room and get funds. Went to a friend so I will still visit. And probably fix it.
