every one I've seen have major issues.

I've got two of those, but even the nice one(s) on glass seem to be a lighter shade or very faded.

Pay heed, thread lurkers! Once you get hooked on Bally EM's... there is no cure. Except to acquire more.

Very clean game! Cutest alligators of all time... just love the artwork.

LET IT BE KNOWN due to this acquisition we must now create a Bally EM Zone at TPF next year! I should have Old Chicago, Expressway, Grand Tour, and Skyrocket ready by then. And, yes, the Freedom prototype will have to return or else people will come knocking on my door at 2am demanding satisfaction.

If I manage to score a Bow & Arrow... well... that'd be great too.

HOLY Crap!....

Quoted from Darcy:

HOLY Crap!....

I know right!? This game won a ribbon for best original game at TPF back in 2009. I had been wondering about this game for years. I had my eyes set on it big time about 4 months ago when another pinsider mentioned the game. I saw the game for sale today on facebook and immediately called the number and struck up a deal. I also have help getting the game from San Antonio to Dallas.

I will help pay for this booth and we can make it happen. I am sure Marcus will want to be a part of this booth as well. I plan to find another Bally or two before the next TPF. If all goes well I will bring 3 or 4 Bally machines.

#5907 8 years ago

Wow, that's a stunningly beautiful Nip-It. Now I kinda want one. I don't own any Bally EMs.

That light colored playfield theme almost makes it look newer than it is, or maybe this example is just that nice.

#5908 8 years ago

I want to see that balligator in action. Too cool.

#5909 8 years ago

Just bought this from a friend. Was in the corner of his bar, covered in dirt, dust, nicotine and beer spills. Just an initial scrubbing and been playing it like crazy. Needs some bulbs, a good detailing ("shopping"?, not familiar w/ terminology yet), and I need to do some reading on the match feature. It isn't working.

Great pick-up. This is the right place if you have questions about restoration, clean-up, mechanical issues!

That one should clean up nice!

Half my woodrail room finished.

Remote control turns these 5 games on.

Original 1950's nickels and dimes on the games.

Kind of like how it must have been like ( minus the remote control! )

Another "Melody" in a "Sing Along" cabinet. How does this happen? Did they maybe make some that way? Do the serial numbers match?

Great game. I'm still sad I had to pass on the one that Tuna Delight was selling last month (also in a Sing Along cabinet). Congrats!

Thanks everyone.

Biggest thanks goes to DF

I have 2 Bally EM's in my lineup, modest compared to the awesome collections in this thread. They are my first pins and I can't bring myself to part with them.

On OUR time.

#5929 8 years ago

I've been thinking about this, Mr. Hand. If I'm here and you're here, doesn't that make it our time? Certainly, there's nothing wrong with a little feast on our time.

#5930 8 years ago

You're right, Mr Spicoli.

Does Big Daddy ever get lonely, being in the corner by itself?
Or is that a place of honor?

Never. I fold my clothes on it at least twice a week.

He leaves the TV on during the day so it doesn't get lonely.

Thanks! Playfield is broken in really well, lol it's a players pin but works all the way. One day I am going to finally paint the cab on that topper to match the backglass.

- Fixed Strato-Flite 100%
- Fixed Magnotron 100%
- Strato-Flite took a ride (well, a push) to the other side of the room as I begin to pull the final machines out of my garage and bring them down into the new pinball game room. Devil's Dare is taking it's spot. Doing so much work to these games it's crazy but right now everything in the basement is operation and 90% or more working (most 100%, minus 1 or 2 out of 6) and that's quite a lot to say when most of these games were purchased as mechanically rough projects that hadn't been maintained in years!

Played in the pitch dark last night, did it before but yesterday everything was all the way lit up and there was no gap left between the EMs anymore, unreal sight! Pictures don't do it justice unfortunately. Strato-Flite's stars were twinkling (quick incandescent flashers installed by somebody else, they work so well on this game), Magnotron's eyes were blinking, Wild Life's lion was blinking, and Comet's... everything was blinking. Backed with some Bryan Adams on the radio it was a great moment.

Short video for animation's sake:

Feeling very proud of myself and my collection, I know they're not the prettiest or the most A-level desirable games ever to others but it took a lot of work to get them running and I love them and their flaws. Still got another EM to bring down and 3 more SS. Feeling very grateful for everything, including this great community which is always there to help if needed.

Hey, it's yours, so they're second best. First place goes to my collection, after all, it's mine!

A new friend that has been into pinball for a long time came over today and we are playing all the games. He said this is the most lively EM he has ever played. I must agree. All it took was one game, a little luck, and a lot of skill to do this.

"Missed it by that Much!"

A worthy High Score, get your pencil and mark the door way next to the pin. Or grease pen on the backglass.

Or just carve it into the side of the head like we did back in the day. I'm sure o-din won't mind.
