Awesome game, you will want it for yourself and not let it leave your house once it is there.

It get's confusing sometimes. The DMD guys want Kingpin, and I get to play a Wms. King Pin, and another guy just wants a playfield for his 1973 Gtb. King Pin.
Quoted from Vic_Camp:Check out the LL playfield and backglass.
That BG looks pretty good, as most WMS Lady Lucks that i have seen always seems to have flaking near the bottom.
Quoted from pauloz:Skyrocket is my first EM.
Yours is in super nice shape.
One of my favorite BLY EM pins (that and Magic Circle).
Played it a lot at Arcade Expo 2.0 a few weeks ago.

The game was in a home "family room" for a long time before I bought it and I was lucky the backglass was nice.
Quoted from Vic_Camp:Very nice 4 player...looks like Happy Clown without the stand up targets.

That Big Brave looks real nice Mike.
I am shopping this North Star for a friends aunt I grew up with back in the 1960's. The game hasn't been played since the 1970's.

"North Star" is such a great game! It could be the best wedgehead, neck and neck with "King of Diamonds" for sure.
I got a Top Score last year and already posted that one, and here it is with the Volley I got a few later. It was HOU for the last 25 years, had all the paperwork and the schematic was still taped in the lightbox. A very clean unit.-

Thanks, Boiler. Coming from you that is a huge compliment The pic looks like the red is washed out, but it's not at all. It is in excellent shape. I was lucky to score this.
A few months ago a friend of mine called me and said he picked up a Buccaneer at an estate sale. He decided he didn't want to restore it because it was going to take to much time etc, etc... So he offered it to me for $300. I was like "ugh, a Buccaneer?" But I could not pass up a 70's wedgehead, because those are my favorite. As i inspected i noticed it has a few things going for it. Backglass has only a few spots but looks excellent. Playfield is pretty good and the plastics are like new. The coin door had some rust but was not dented. The cabinet is awful and will require a redo.
So, now Ive finished with getting this game up and running. I recycled the posts from other games that I've replaced them on. I painted them with glossy white to make them look new. They came out great. I also put a new rubber kit,new acorn nuts on the plastics and LED's throughout with color LED pop bumper (leaving 47 bulbs on the Special and all rollovers/inserts). I did add orange dot Gottlieb flipper coils.Other than that everything is what it came with.
Ive played Buccaneer many times in the past. I thought that the more I played this game the more it would become boring, but it just the opposite. The more I play, the more I like this game, even with no drop targets. The spinner is so fun to hit. This game is a keeper and Ill redo the cabinet come spring time.

Vic, how in the world do you ever work on those games if one of them has an issue? Just removing the glass looks like it would be an adventure
It's not as bad as the pictures make it look after using every inch of the basements 18 x 28 space to the extreme to fit in my 25 wedgeheads. In the corner near my Atlantis, if I have to get to Drop a Card or High Hand then all I have to do is move out my Sing Along and I can slide the glass off either game and pulling either game forward gets behind to service the heads. Check out the pictures from 2007 to get a better idea of my space condition in my basement gameroom.

I've been to Vic's and it is amazing how he has squeezed so many games into the basement he has. Dimensionally my basement is like 28 x 28 but when you include the stairs, furnace, half bath, closet, partition wall, etc. I have room to set up 10.

I must have missed you when you came to Vic's. I'm there quite often. Did you make a pingrimage, or were you in NJ for another reason?

*swoon*
If I could ever find room for one more machine it would be a Buccaneer (or a High Seas or a Ship Ahoy).

I squeezed in a two hour visit in March of 2011. It was high school spring break for my boys. We were going to spend a few days in Brooklyn staying with my in-laws and then on down to DC for a few days. I was at a jobsite in WV and flew out of Pittsburgh while my wife and kids flew out of KC. We all flew into Newark except my flight got in over 4 hours earlier than theirs so I made a pingramage to Vic's until my family arrived.
It was the best use of wait time ever.
Sorry I missed you.

Sell Dodge City? That's on my keeper list. Played it as a kid before it was destroyed one evening at a laundry mat. I now have another and it's safe!

I agree with both, I had a great sky jump sold it due to space, FaC was the last game on my want list that I could not find in good shape.
I am really stoked to get it in the line up, the bad I am going to have to move a few out. I just have more than I can even store.
it has a pretty nice bg, most I have seen always have issues

totally agree..i love mine so much had her imported from the states to australia.
Beautiful 4Square....what a great piece of glass..the playfield looks great when on special...all those lit numbers in the midfield
Spinout looks best in the dark..... the way the backlighting picks out just a few of the designs

Agree on the two inch flipper game.
I'll go with Atlantis on the three inch games.

on second thought I would give atlantis the edge over sky jump only by a little on game play a lot on the art package
I have a Sky Jump and a Atlantis. I can usually rack up a huge score on my Atlantis, Sky Jump.....not so much. I find Sky Jump to be very challenging. However, Atlantis wins because of artwork. In my opinion.
Quoted from bicyclenut:I find Sky Jump to be very challenging.
Average scores for the Sky Jump I have are 29,000 to 50,000. Set to 5 ball. Getting the 1-7 lit, and winning the 'Replay' is roughly 2 or 3 times in 15 plays.
Quoted from Darcy:Average scores for the Sky Jump I have are 29,000 to 50,000. Set to 5 ball. Getting the 1-7 lit, 2 or 3 times in 15 plays.
Im about the same as you. My Sky Jump plays soo good. Ive gone through it and did a full restore. Meaning, Ive replace most all the coil sleeve, if not they have been cleaned. We have a dry erase board in the game room to keep track of all the EM games. My 18 year old son currently has the highest score of 72,000ish. It kills me that I cant beat his score. Im usually like you 29,000 to 50,000ish. Set on 5 ball. Now Atlantis....watch out!
I have yet to roll my Atlantis. And to tell the truth I don't know if it has a 100k light. It will be a surprise!
Quoted from presqueisle:I have yet to roll my Atlantis. And to tell the truth I don't know if it has a 100k light. It will be a surprise
Atlantis does not have a 100k light
Quoted from presqueisle:I have yet to roll my Atlantis. And to tell the truth I don't know if it has a 100k light. It will be a surprise!
Nope, no 100K light. And you'll have a hard time rolling yours (as long as there's no tissue in the tilt bob).
