I've got a Williams EM that was not scoring right. The 3000 point switch was scoring 2000 and the 5000 point switch was scoring 4000. It turns out that two of the teeth (one on each side) of the impulse score motor cam were broken off. I'd prefer to replace the cam, but I know I will have a hard time finding one. Any ideas for a fix? Should I try to melt something on? I also thought about drilling a hole below and looping some stiff wire around. What's the best approach?

Thanks for the ideas. I have JB Weld as well as some some fiberglass fabric. I figure it's worth a try to fix it - worst case it can be fabricated, 3d printed, or replaced. I might try a combination of drilling, adding wire and then JB weld. I'll post some pics and let you know how it goes!

I used wire and JB Weld, just curing now. LateCenturyMods - thanks a ton for the offer. Fingers crossed that I won't need it.

Diameter is 2 inches not including teeth. There are two sets of 5 teeth (for a total of 10), with what looks like a 1 tooth space in between.

Success! I ended up drilling a small hole and threading some wire through. I twisted it tight and cut it off. I then spread some JB Weld on and let it set. After that I filed it smooth and reinstalled. Working great now, but it remains to be seen how well it lasts. Thanks for chiming in, everyone.

That's it! I'm sure yours will hold up much better than my hacked one. Thanks a ton for finding it. I'll PM you.

Thanks RacingPin for getting me that replacement part. I appreciate it!
