Quoted from Jaffafu:

problem is score engine runs all the time

Is it doing anything else, like scoring points?

Check out the start sequence.

Check the schematic on ipdb.org. You'll see that the score motor is powered through any of quite a few switches. You need to see which one is closed when it should not be. Easiest way to do this is to block the switches one-by-one with a piece of cardboard until you find the problem switch.

Alternatively, when you start the machine up, see if any of the relays whose switches are inline with the score motor energize.

Find score motor run-on switch (usually either the top or bottom switch on the stack closest to the physical motor. Place a piece of paper between the contacts to see if the problem stops.

If that does not work, consult the schematic and inspect each and every switch shown that operates the score motor. One of them is stuck/adjusted to close or out of adjustment. Repair the problem switch.
