    I also don't put a whole lot of thought into the number. Just bought a Target Alpha with 3,797 plays... and prior to restoring it, the playfield had tons of swirl marks, making me think that it had been turned over. However the mechanicals, shooter lane wear, and overall cleanliness of the cabinet and backbox nixed that idea. Turns out after taking a good look at the ball, it was chipped.

    After shopping it, and clearing the playfield after getting the swirl marks out... it really does look like a game that only had 3,797 plays on it.
