Great advise and I'll second all your points having been there recently working on a couple of EMs. Points 2, 6, and 9 have solved most of my problems. On point 1, I only wish I could more often google the identical problem with a solution but I guess it's both the beauty and nature of the beast that every issue is just a little different to drive you crazy. Yet there is no more satifsying feeling when you hunt it down and solve it and get to enjoy the game you love.
