    Hi all,

Being fairly new to this (pinballs and living in the USA!), I was keen to understand if this event is a good place to pick up an EM project? (e.g. Instead of waiting for something half-decent to appear on Craigslist/ebay)

It would be a 3.5 hour drive, so thought it best to get some feedback on the event before I mention a trip to the wife.

    Thoughts/Comments?

    Quoted from hoov:

If you do decide to go let everyone here know what games you would like to buy. Good luck!

Thanks, Hoov. While I'd like to continue on a theme (I have a Capt. Fantastic, so I guess a Wizard...or a Kings and Queens but I know that's unlikely as a project and would be more expensive than others), overall I'm not really picky - just something that has decent potential.

Frankly I'm driving myself, my wife, and probably my employer, nuts with my constant searching of Craigslist/Ebay, so I'm hoping this trip will take care of that.

Couple of questions for the experts:

    1. Is $100 to $200 a reasonable average for a project?
    2. I can only get there around Saturday mid-day - will I have missed all the bargains?
    3. Is it a good place to pick up a back-box door?

    thanks!

    Quoted from jrpinball:

I know someone who makes them, and will make one to your order if you'd like.

Thanks, its actually for my Bally Firecracker. But I just tried the CF back box cover and while I think its the same, it is very tight and does not quite fit, as if the Firecracker box has shrunk slightly. Perhaps I'll follow a tip I saw on this forum and take it to a sheet metal /HVAC place and see if the can make one about 1/16 smaller.

    Thanks again.
