Its no different than the CE at JJP or the LE at Stern, A big part of it to many collectors is the hope its worth more later to the limited status but I've been buying pins for 10 years now NIB and many many LE's. Not a one garnered me a profit on resale, quite the contrary. I'm all for the LE model and if they make a Road Warrior or Blade Runner or Slayer pin I'll buy the LE but not because of "limited edition, make as many as you want as far as I'm concerned. I'm buying that model cause if its in my dream theme category I want the best example I can get. Same goes for this ridiculous over priced topper. It will sell out, some people have enough money or passion for this game and want the full package. Good for them. If you can't afford it them maybe you should have studied a little harder or had less children.

Don't buy toppers. For me anyway I think they make pins look cheese. If u like them then hey, we all like different cheeses. I would much rather have the option to buy a kit that added a spinner or under PF magnets that actually impact gameplay. Armor and Shakers and Add on toys? Nah. To each his own.

It always made me laugh when a buddy would find out what I paid for a pinball machine yet he spent the same on vacation or rims for his car. You are absolutely correct when u say 1K for some is a fart in the wind and yet people complaining are spending thousands for a giant toy.
