I’ll probably always keep a game in my house but I’m not at all interested in ‘collecting’ and throwing money at these manufacturers for the crap they give us.
Thats freaking ridiculous, and Im sure they will sell all 200 of them.
You know what would be just as impressive for a topper, costs the same, and it can be used on any game? A stack of 1000 uncirculated $1 bills. Just set it up there and light it up with some green LEDs.

At least you don't need to fill out an application telling them why you should be picked to buy the topper.
We all know if they are only doing 200. They will sell out in under an hour. Ads for them at $1500 nib will pop up within 2 hours.

I've never understood the "collector" mentality or limited edition for that matter. Especially toppers... But to each his own. If it makes you happy and you have the disposable income... Does it really matter what anyone spends their cash on? The only person that is going to find value in your collection is you, no matter how big your e-peen gets stroked... You can't take any of it with you so might as well enjoy it.. but if your getting it to impress others... That's a mistake and a whole other issue...No one really gives a shit

Its no different than the CE at JJP or the LE at Stern, A big part of it to many collectors is the hope its worth more later to the limited status but I've been buying pins for 10 years now NIB and many many LE's. Not a one garnered me a profit on resale, quite the contrary. I'm all for the LE model and if they make a Road Warrior or Blade Runner or Slayer pin I'll buy the LE but not because of "limited edition, make as many as you want as far as I'm concerned. I'm buying that model cause if its in my dream theme category I want the best example I can get. Same goes for this ridiculous over priced topper. It will sell out, some people have enough money or passion for this game and want the full package. Good for them. If you can't afford it them maybe you should have studied a little harder or had less children. 
This topper seems like a bargain compared to the R2D2 Star Wars topper that looks like a toy that you can buy at Walmart for $9.99

Definitely looks like a $10 knick-knack from a halloween store.
Guessing the whole “limited” thing coupled with what I guess would also include an autograph (plus a $5 coil!) will make these fly off the shelf.
If Stern wants to make some extra dough from insanely priced toppers vs. stripping even more features from games I’m OK with it... seriously, who can blame them when they see people shelling out the same for a Ghostbusters topper!

A good quality Side Walk Sally 300 an hour so it would be fun but not for long.
This is what I've heard anyway. 
Don't buy toppers. For me anyway I think they make pins look cheese. If u like them then hey, we all like different cheeses. I would much rather have the option to buy a kit that added a spinner or under PF magnets that actually impact gameplay. Armor and Shakers and Add on toys? Nah. To each his own.
