Hey
I might buy an Elvis for 3500$.
What are the specific things I should look first?
Thsnks!
Lou
A smooth moving Elvis, wear around the magnet, and jailhouse hole, and a well working door on upper playfield.
Things that give you an idea on how much mileage it has, whether things have been kept up/repaired, to know what
work you may need to do.
Built like a Rock, and if you like the theme, I find it one of Ritchies better games.
Hound Dogs head from hitting the washer is also a clue on mileage.
Movement here in the last week, to get a color DMD for the game....
One of SR's best IMO.
If it has more than 5k plays you will need to rebuild the flippers.
The Hotel area between the door and targets gets mushroomed from hits.
The Magnet cores may need to be replaced also.
Other than that if the jail house plastic is there that is a bonus I would protect it once you own it.
Place a clear washer above the dogs head to keep the paint on him.
Good luck
I have an nos set of ramps if anyone needs them -fs of course.
Check the weld on the left ramp where it exits to the upper flipper (weak spot).
Missing jail house plastic and Elvis track plastic.
Ramps have lane travel and the cab looks good other than flipper wear.
Still 3500 seems me in the right range 3-3800 imo for a route version. PBResource had a plastic set for 280 not too long ago.
Rt ramp hard to find left ramp hard to find.
Good luck
