EATPM is a terrible game. Just awful. It's one of my least favorite games of the era. It's not helped at all by the Bally flippers of the time, which are basically like a 30% penalty to awesomeness all on their own....I'd honestly rather buy a Cybernauts before EATPM.

Scared Stiff, on the other hand, is a classic, easy to understand rules that are obvious, but a few hard to achieve goals, and very tournament friendly if set up tough.

I can't say I have any desire at all for Elvira 3 though. Why do I care about a character that's been effectively 'dead' (re: completely irrelevant) for well over a decade, and that wasn't entertaining to me in the first place... they already MADE the perfect Elvira game. Anything even less subtle than Scared Stiff is going to be bordering on porn, anything more subtle misses the theme completely. There's just no way for them to make this game and have it not be trying to fight a two front war. Unless it's Scared Stiff Valut Edition and they're just adding some video clips and modern lighting and sound production values.

I'm glad I like Star Wars, because with Elvira 3 and (big) *if* GOTG is a Gomez game (WRRRRRYYYYYYYY), then I'm gonna have a good long while before Stern pops one out that I'll be really interested in.

Ain't no way on earth SS will *ever* be considered the #1 pin of all time. It's just too shallow, which is basically the only thing wrong with the game.

Okay, well, apparently it's bad enough that I just thought it was a Bally. It was already the same damn company at that point, so do you have an actual point? =Þ Does it really matter? I don't like the game. It plays weird, the flippers feel like crap on every one I've laid hands on (3 or 4 different ones at this point).

Want to change my mind? Bring a fully restored and rebuilt one to TPF and flag me down. I'll give a turd a 5th shot. I keep playing North Star for some stupid reason, and I despise that game.

I don't think it feels like many other sys11 games at all. It certainly feels different than Whirlwind or Taxi. I'm not judging it unfairly either way though. I find the shots and layout to be clunky. The game feels like it was designed by Bally (Game Show...that game has the same 'feel' to me..) and put into production with the Williams name.

Where did I enforce my opinion on someone else, like you did? I didn't tell anyone they were "welcome to their wrong opinion"? I've stated multiple times *I* don't like EATPM and think it's garbage. You want to own it, and like it...by all means. You're even welcome to ATTEMPT to change my opinion, but that's an uphill battle that's unlikely to be won.

I think you have a fair point, but I want to say that I've played EATPM in someone's collection before. And he's an experienced collector. While the game wasn't RESTORED, I'm pretty sure he had shopped it out, replaced ramps, etc. I just don't like the game. I'm more than willing to give one with a cleared playfield or a full playfield plastic protector a go, as that would change the feel quite a bit. I've been converted on games that I said I didn't like several times before, but this is kind of a case of "Who's going to volunteer up their most expensive system 11 game ever" just to change MY mind?

Yeah, whatever dude. I get T&A...just not ancient T&A. I didn't 'get it' when I was younger, because by the time I'd ever even heard of Elvira, porn existed. As I got older, I was never attracted to the whole goth thing, still am not, and the combination of the character's "valley girl" (very appropriate comparison whoever said that) attitude with the goth thing is just... ugh. I understand that most guys like their women dumber than a sack of ball peen hammers, and to each their own, but I'll always prefer substance over flash.
