Quoted from SKWilson:Jason,
It's been a while since I looked under the play field, but the connections do have labels on them. Seems like yours accidentally got swapped during assembly. Switching the two connections should be pretty straight-forward.
Let me know if you need help figuring it out and I'll open mine up and take pics.
Thanks!
Shawn
If you take photos, please share as I am having the same issue as chet218. Thank you!
Quoted from SKWilson:Both sides of the connections are labelled. Make sure the connections match.
Thank you! That helps a bunch. I’ll check it out when I get home.

The connectors were incorrectly tagged. With the photos you provided I was able to identify and correct the plugs, change the labels, and FINALLY make that awesome Backdoor skill shot!!! Thank you for taking the time to help me resolve this issue.
You can order the trees from Amazon. Here is the link

I took delivery of my LE on October 25th, 2019. I have tried every trick posted on this forum, including everything from moving the VUK assembly (at least 3 times), grinding a slight cup-shape in the upkicker plunger with a dremel tool, and made adjustments in the settings. I've changed out the coil with a new one. I've explored the 3m double sided tape method too. When I eyeball the path of the ball from above, the VUK plunger is perfectly centered. Mine only hits one of the 3 targets 25% of the time. The other 75% it just drools out of the outhole and lands somewhere around the top of the left slingshot. I have looked at the action using the slow motion setting on my phone and nothing is obviously wrong. Its been two years now and I've finally given up...
I fought this issue since I bought my game in October of 2019. I tried every recommended fix in this topic. Some helped, but none resolved the issue. I spent countless hours of time and frustration and finally just accepted that it wasn't going to get any better. This solution by FlopTube FIXED the problem. The Crypt Kicker VUK hits the targets 100% of the time. No more dribbles for me.
Underneath my playfield looked even more off center than the photo FlopTube posted. I had to remove most of the screws associated with the ball trough, line up the trough hole with the playfield hole, mark the new locations for the screws drill new pilot holes and reinstall the ball trough. I even added one additional screw around the VUK hole, just to make sure it was going to stay in place. Good luck!
Quoted from VisitorQ:Yeah... I don't think mine is that far off honestly as it will hit the targets about 50% of the time but I could be wrong.
I'm guessing you drilled pilot holes so the wood did not split? Otherwise I think these wood screws pretty much are self tapping.
That is correct. A couple of the new holes were close to the original holes and it just help guide the screws to the correct spot. That's another reason I added one more screw at around the 2:00 o'clock position in the photo above.
Quoted from VisitorQ:If you ever have to fill in holes or they are too close, you can use KwikWood or stuff like it. Works awesome and you can re-drill it etc...

Thank you! I was just in a hurry to see if it would actually fix my issue. I'll get some of this stuff, then go back and plug off the extra holes to make it look neat.
