There might be some game specific parts for EHOH that Stern bought back in 2019 when the game first came out at a cheaper price, but I bet most of the parts for the next build being were bought now at higher prices.
Stern is taking advantage of higher demand with their current pricing (especially on LE's) but some of the overall price increases are just due to higher costs of parts.
