If everyone would cancel we could take control of this price increase craziness but I know that is not happening so I am keeping my order.

I got my shooter rod from stern today (not my topper yet). Do you know if it is normal for the three screw bosses not to be threaded? I would expect these to be threaded from the factory but it is possible that the design relies on the screws to form the threads?

I placed an order with one of my distributors a few weeks ago for one. At the time it was on back order. If you want one, now would be the time to try and secure one as Stern has started shipping them again.
I got my screen mods and my topper today. The screens installed without issue and look great but my $1100 topper base plate is bent! I could probably bend them back in place without much of an issue but I don’t think I should have to deal with this at the price point being charged.
I love how the instruction show styrofoam covers designed to prevent this kind of damage but none were installed.

I got a new pair of speakers today for my machine. I think they are the same ones stern uses in their LEs. Has anyone done this upgrade? Could you tell a difference when only updating the two speakers?
I need a pair of 5.25” mounts for them but speakerlightkits.com is out of them and $70 for them from pinballlife.com seems like a rip off for two metal plates. Any other sources for these kind of mounts?

I just got an email from Doug that they are now in stock and placed an order for a pair!
I upgraded my speakers and am very happy with the look and the sound but I am getting vibrations in the glass even which relatively low volume. I did not have this problem with the stock speakers. Any suggestions?

He ended up selling 9 of them for $1,400.00!! Luckily I purchased before the $400.00 price increase!! Looks like he sold out of them.
There was not a $400 price increase. He is just marking them up for a profit.
I don’t recall seeing this design last week when looking for dude blades. Does anyone have these? They seem to match the art above the back of the playfield well.

I have had the same problem and got replacements from Stern for free. To be honest, the replacements were not much better. It would have been better if they swaged the end of the pins instead of flattening them. If somebody has a better solution I would be very interested. The pins on the gargoyles at the entrance of the hose sometimes stick out so far that they hit the ramp when it raises or lowers.

Way back when her first slot machine came out, I was fortunate enough to be in contact with Cassandra. I was trying to get one of those toppers so I asked her if she could get one from IGT as I'd be interested in buying one. She said "You know, I never thought to ask." Well, she asked and IGT sent her two of them on these really nice wooden display bases.
I ended up buying one from her, which I still have, and she kept the other one which is now being auctioned.
BTW, buyer's premium is 25%. Another 3% if online. Sales tax on top of that if picked up or shipped in California. That's almost a whopping 38%!

I temporarily stole it from Godzilla. Good news is I was able to keep both games registered in my account using the same hardware. Hopefully once I move it back, I don't have to make any changes in my IC account.
I know that several of you have DOCQUEST's cool apron screen mod in your EHOH and will not want to place the IC QR code reader in your apron. To address this issue on my machine, I designed a mount that allows for the reader to be placed in the coin door. I am going to sell this as a kit. If you are interested or want to buy one they will be available first come first served and start shipping in less than two week.

I'm not upset as a LE owner - Heck, my game is worth 50% than I paid for it. To top things off, the LE is colored correctly (no purple blood or couch). Same can be said for the premium owners to a certain degree. The only buyers that got price screwed were the SE buyers. That isn't a big deal because it too has the correct color scheme (I prefer the look of the SE over the 40th Anniversary game). SE and 40th Anniversary game won't likely see that type of price increase.
That is not how things work! People used the same argument when CGC released the CCr SE+ For the same price as the LEs. This lowered the value if the LEs, not increases it. Any time supply increases, prices fall; Especially for collectibles.
I will make sure to update my TWIPY vote to include you as best mod! I absolutely love mine! For some reason I thought that it came out in 2020. My mistake. Also, I recently posted that I am selling a mounting kit that will allow you to relocate the Stern insider connected QR code reader to the coin door. I think this is a must if you want to have dual screens and IC enabled on your EHOH. You can find out more and order one from here:

I have the same problem but it is the gargoyle pin that over extends and then catches on the ramp. The swage on the end of the pins is not big enough to fully lock them in place.

There is a pin the hold on the metal L bracket the pops up the Gargoyle that ends up sliding in towards the ramp and when the ramp goes either up or down it gets hung up on that pin and won't go either all the way up or won't come down depending on where the ramp is when that pin slides to far over. Has anyone else experienced this issue? Anyone found a reliable fix for this issue?

This drives me crazy! I have the same problem. Stern sent me new mechs and they have the same problem. The pins are just not flared enough on the ends to keep them in place. I have had the pins completely fall out from one side.

It looks like the hooks bay have gotten bent during shipping. Can you post a picture from the side showing the front edge of the playfield? We had this happen on a Hobbit and had to replace the front hooks.

I will also be including the same green eyeball start button graphic as well as an additional red glitter sparkle version. If you want to use the red eyeball start button I'd recommend replacing the green start button lens cover with a clear one. Not sure why Stern kept the green lens fir this version of the game, clear will look much nicer

I will also be making a Blood Red Kiss version of my secret back door sign mod. This version will be flourescent pink/red to match the new game style. It will give a pinkish red neon glow to the outer edges of the current back door sign when it flashes on and off.
