It appears that the nut holding it on it’s not screw down all the way but I can’t screw it down any farther, the link has a lot of play in it.. seems like it should screw down farther and have a washer on it.. I wanted to know if all of yours look the same, have lotta play in them, and are not threaded down all the way and have no washer?

Thank you! Odd that your link has that white stuff in it, I wonder what that is? my link has quite a bit of play in it there and the play is what causes the gap in the crypt door. The door gap isn’t too bad but I have adjusted it out as far as I can, without tightening the play in that link I cannot remove the rest of the gap.
